The skills you need to be successful in life. Hi, today I want to tell you about the skills you need to develop. Look, there are two kinds of skills: Hard Skills and Soft Skills. Hard Skills are narrow professional skills that you need to do specific tasks in your day-to-day job. For example, if you want to make a website, you need Hard Skills - writing code for the site. Roughly speaking, the skill of a programmer. Soft skills - non-professional skills that help you solve life tasks and work with other people. For example, you have Soft Skill - self presentation and when you get hired, you were chosen for the position because you were able to present yourself nicely. Soft skills are useful in any field, are formed in childhood and are associated with emotional intelligence. Flexible and hard skills should complement each other in order to solve tasks of different complexity. For example, a graphic designer would benefit from mastering soft skills: communication, creative thinking, empathy and hard skills: mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Figma. What soft skills to develop? I made a small list of popular soft skills. ▫️ Communication ▫️ Critical thinking ▫️ Service/Customer orientation. ▫️ Managing projects, people, and myself ▫️ Mentoring and mentoring ▫️ Problem Solving ▫️ Decision making ▫️ Emotional intelligence ▫️ Nonviolent communication ▫️ Knowledge Management ▫️ Working under uncertainty ▫️ Lean Production ▫️ Ecological thinking ▫️ Self-analysis and self-reflection I do not want to write a long post, because many people do not finish reading it. So, write in the comments which soft skill to talk more about and in the next posts I will elaborate on the skill you like best.

🍁Playing team sports is good for children to prepare for working life or not. Discuss both views and give your opinion. ⚡️Model Answer: Band: 7.5 Words: 296 Some believe that playing team sports can be beneficial to teenagers' future career achievements while others hold the view that it is completely useless. Both sides of the argument will be discussed in this essay, followed by my own perspective on this matter. On the one hand, people think that participating in team sports can enhance children's communication skills and make them become better team players. For example, activities like playing basketball and soccer require youths to communicate well with teammates from different educational and cultural backgrounds, which can equip youngsters with interpersonal skills before they enter the workforce. Getting along with workmates is one of the most essential contributors to one's career achievements. Further, collaboration ability fostered by joining multiplayer games is vital to one's employment prospects as well. It is very common that people need to cooperate with their colleagues on team projects, being able to generate strategies and collaborate with co-workers are key factors to success. On the other hand, opponents argue that these games can hardly contribute to individuals' occupational achievements. Firstly, students can merely learn academic knowledge and professional skills from playing team games. Therefore, it is better for school-age children to utilize their time on studying more practical subjects such as mathematics and programming, which can ensure a more promising career and stable income. Additionally, some players tend to be overly competitive and outcome-oriented since the thought of winning is extremely important is ingrained in their minds. This kind of attitude could bring pressure to co-workers and cause negative effects on the working environment. In my opinion, while group sports can cultivate players great social skills and collaboration abilities, which is imperative to their occupational prospects, it is important not to be too serious and dedicated to these leisure activities. @SpeakingEnglish_uz

Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste? #essay Recycling waste materials should help to tackle both the mountains of domestic rubbish produced each year and our depleting natural resources. However, recycling programmes need the full cooperation of residents if they are to be effective, and unfortunately, this is often lacking. Even though many countries already have sophisticated systems and processes for recycling used materials, far too many recyclables continue to be thrown away with the general waste. As a result, our growing rubbish dumps are having a devastating effect on the environment. Moreover, throwing paper, plastics, and glass into the general waste means losing the chance to extract precious raw materials so that they can be used again. This is a pressing problem that we must do our best to solve as quickly as possible. Many people say they do not recycle simply because it is too time-consuming, and, in spite of the many educational programmes about this, many say they are confused about what can be recycled. Given the information overload we are confronted with every day, it is perhaps unsurprising that adding even more information has little impact and is easily ignored. Unfortunately, we humans are creatures of habit and tend to carry on as normal unless we are forced to change our ways. Thus, the only effective way to bring about a real change in our behaviour is to implement new laws governing our domestic waste. To sum up, increasing our recycling levels is imperative given the impact our waste is having on the planet, yet our busy lives mean that we are not paying enough attention to this. Thus, I completely agree that we will only achieve success through new laws and regulations. - Pauline Cullen @SpeakingEnglish_uz
