💡 FN 6: Generative AI 👉🏼 Amassing 100,000,000 users over the span of merely two months, ChatGPT has taken the world by storm, leaving the world to grapple with a new technological wave known as generative artificial intelligence (AI). Whilst generative AI (e.g. ChatGPT, DALL-E, Tay) holds great promise on generating creative, innovative, efficient, as well as personalised and democratised content, universities have also simultaneously been increasingly alarmed by its potential perils. The popularisation of ChatGPT has seen many students submitting ChatGPT-written assignments, infringing on the principle of academic integrity. 👉🏼 Following a new technological wave of generative AI, what are the implications of generative AI? 💡 Campus Engagement 👉🏼 Indonesian Students' CF, Chinese CF and English CF (that's us!) will be having a booth to invite NTU students to come and interact with CFers and we are looking for volunteers this event! 👉🏼 The theme for this Campus Engagement initiative is "What're Your Priorities?" on 28-29 March 2023. We hope to engage in conversations with NTU students, to talk about the priorities of students and why they have such priorities, thereby understanding the diversity of our campus more. 👉🏼 We are recruiting volunteers to interact and engage with different students participating in the booth activities at specific timings on both days. Essentially, we hope that our volunteers could lead conversations and carry out fun activities with students, as we aim to learn more about our student body and its various priorities. 👉🏼 A pre-event briefing will take place on 16 March for volunteers, to better prepare us for the event!
