ኒው ጀነሬሽ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ኮሌጅ ተማሪዎቹን አስመረቀ እሁድ መስከረም 8 ቀን 2015 (አዲስ ማለዳ) ኒው ጀነሬሽን ዩኒቨርሲቲ በመጀመሪያ ዲግሪ በአካውንቲንግ፣ በሎጂስቲክስ እና በቢዝነስ ማኔጅመት እንዲሁም በግሎባል ጥናትና ዓለማቀፍ ግንኙነት የመጀመሪያና በኹለተኛ ዲግሪ ያስተማራቸውን ተማሪዎች አስመርቋል። ዛሬ መስከረም 8 ቀን 2015 በኦሮሞ ባህል ማእከል በተካሄደው የምርቃት መርሃ ግብር፤ የዩኒቨርሲቲውን አመራሮችን ጨምሮ፣ ከፍተኛ የመንግሥት ባለሥልጣናትና የተለያዩ አገራት ዲፕሎማቶች ታድመዋል። የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት ማትዮስ ግችሌ በምርቃት ዝግጅቱ ላይ ባደረጉት ንግግር፤ ለተማሪዎቻቸው የእንኳን ደስ አላችሁ እና የመልካም ምኞት መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል። አያይዘውም አፍሪካ ለለውጥና ለእድገት የሚተጋ ባለርዕይ የሆነ፣ አዲስ ዕይታ ያለውና ከእርስ በእርስ ግጭት የተላቀቀ፤ በእውቀትና በመረዳት የሚመራ አዲስ ትውልድ ያስፈልጋታል ያሉ ሲሆን፤ ዩኒቨርሲቲያቸው ይህን ለማገዝ እንዲያስችል የትምህርት ጥራት እንደሚያሳስበው ጠቅሰዋል። ኒው ጀነሬሽን ዩኒቨርሲቲ ባለፉት 20 ዓመታት በሦስት ካምፓሶች ከ35 ሺሕ በላይ ተማሪዎችን ያስመረቀ መሆኑን የጠቀሱት ፕሬዝዳንቱ፤ ከተለያዩ የአፍሪካ አገራት የመጡ ተማሪዎች እንደሚገኙና ጊቢውም 'በአዲስ አበባ ትንሿ አፍሪካ' ተብሎ የሚጠራ እንደሆነ ተናግረዋል። በዚህም <<የአዲስ አበባን የአፍሪካ ተማሪዎች መገኛ እያደረግናት ነው>> ያሉ ሲሆን፤ የሕዝብ ትስስርን የሚፈጥሩና የሚያጠናክሩ ተቋማትን መፍጠርም አስፈላጊ እንደሆነ አንስተዋል። ተመራቂ ተማሪዎቻቸውም በሄዱበት አገልጋይ እንዲሆኑና ለውጥ ፈጣሪ በመሆን እንዲያገለግሉ መክረዋል። የዝግጅቱ የክብር እንግዳ ሆነው የተገኙት አምባሳደር ዲና ሙፍቲ ባደረጉት ንግግር፤ ለተመራቂዎቹ የእንኳን ደስ አላችሁ መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል። ከተመራቂ ተማሪዎች ማኅበረብና አገር ብዙ ይጠብቃሉ ያሉት አምባሳደር ዲና፤ ማኅበረሰቡ የሚጋፈጠውን ሰው ሠራሽም ሆነ የተፈጥሮ ችግሮች ለመፍታት ብዙ የሚጠበቅባቸው መሆኑን አሳስበዋል። በምርቃት መርሃ ግብሩ ላይ ከኢኳቶሪያል ጊኒ፣ ናይጄሪያ፣ ሶማሊያ፣ አንጎላ፣ ሴራሊዮን የመጡ ተማሪዎችና የተማሪ ተወካዮች መልዕክቶችን አስተላልፈዋል። በተጨማሪም በመርሃ ግብሩ ላይ ምርጥ አፈፃፀም ያሳዩ የተቋሙ መምህራንና ባልደረቦች የምስጋና የምስክር ወረቀት የተበረከተላቸው ሲሆን፤ ከፍተኛ ነጥብ ያመጡ ተማሪዎችም ከክብር እንግዳው እጅ ሽልማት ተቀብለዋል። በአዲስ አበባ፣ ነቀምቴ እንዲሁም በሀርጌሳ በድምሩ ሦስት ቅርንጫፎች ያሉት ዩኒቨርሲቲው፤ በ1994 የተመሠረተ ሲሆን በእድሜው ካስመረቃቸው ተማሪዎች መካከል 25 ሺሕ የሚሆኑት ከተለያዩ አገራት የተውጣጡ ናቸው።
