In the picture: Probably my best product launch🚀 ever! ************************ "More reviews = more sales. More exposure = more sales." This post is intended for those of you who are currently struggling with sales or not experiencing significant growth in sales (ideally, you should see a growth of at least 2-3 times during Christmas) 👉 There are two main factors influencing your sales pace: 1) The position of your product under the most important keywords. 2) The conversion rate of your sales page – determined by various factors such as competitive pricing, main images, average and quality of reviews, and more. 👉 There are many ways to promote a product, but only one method guarantees results (and, to be honest, it's also the most cost-effective): Full-price giveaway under a long-tail keyword. Why do only 15%-20% of sellers use this method?🫤 a) Lack of knowledge about how to implement promotion using this method. b) Unnecessary and unjustified concerns from Amazon and violation of Amazon policies. c) Reliance on Amazon PPC campaigns and immense resource wastage. d) Lack of familiarity with this promotion method. I don't know if you'll be surprised to find out, but there is no leading brand in your category that does not use this promotion method. Have you ever asked yourselves how a new brand that recently joined manages to climb to the top and accumulate reviews systematically? Now you know the answer—> Full-price giveaway. Distributing products at full price has an immediate and drastic impact on two key parameters: * Product ranking under the keyword. * Accumulation of reviews and, consequently, a drastic improvement in the conversion rate. There is a direct and close connection between the quantity and quality of reviews and the organic sales rate. No promotion method or tool (including PPC with a generous budget) can deliver the results of distributing products at full price. How many products to distribute? It depends on the quantity of goods you have and your budget (btw, it's much cheaper than PPC). You can distribute 15-20 units, or you can distribute 50+ units, depending on you. Personally, I distribute 30+ units in each campaign. How is the distribution done in practice? There are several options: * Using blogger agencies like Panda Boom, Dragon Dealz, or Tomoson, and more. * Distributing to a wide circle of friends/ family. * Using micro-influencers (Instagram/ TikTok). Costs?💰 Much lower than what you imagine, and in any case, it's a cost that almost immediately pays off - win-win all the way. Merry Christmas🎅🙏 Gary

Hi everyone! I hope you're enjoying a prosperous holiday season, with your sales reaching new heights. For those of you who are navigating the holiday rush for the first time and are amazed by the exceptionally high sales rates, here are some helpful tips: 1) Make the most of the holiday period by participating in every deal that Amazon offers, even if it involves a temporary price reduction. Of course, ensure that you have sufficient inventory to support it. 2) Try focusing on 2 crucial goals during this period 👉: a) Drastically increase sales, and b) Significantly improve your product ranking. This will set you up for a stronger start in the days following the holidays compared to where you stood in December 2023. 3) Despite the blessing of a surge in sales during the holidays, be prepared for two potentially frustrating phenomena around 4-5 weeks later 👉: a) A notably high rate of product returns, possibly exceeding 10%, and b) an influx of negative reviews that can pose a significant challenge. 4) Anticipate a shortage of inventory that may last until April. Those who fail to plan adequately may find themselves out of stock by mid to late December, unable to replenish due to the Chinese New Year and factory closures. To avoid this, order goods in October for the following five months, ensuring you're well-prepared for the holidays in 2024. *5) Experienced sellers who did plan their inventory effectively may discover that the holiday season and months after are truly magical✨✨✨! Wishing you all happy holidays and a successful sales season🎅🙏!

***Cracking the Amazon Negative Review Code*** I've recently noticed that quite a few sellers are reporting significant damage to their sales pages due to negative reviews posted by competitors. The subject of reviews (which I deal with quite a bit in recent years) is the most influential factor in the sales rate of an Amazon business. Negative reviews can crush sales by 90% in an instant, and positive reviews can increase sales by 200%+ overnight. There are competitors😈 who understand this and, instead of busying themselves with increasing the sales of their business, prefer to hurt their competitors by leaving negative reviews. I experienced and still experience it for 7 years now... Btw, the situation in Google reviews is no different, and even there, you can see daily attempts to harm businesses. So what is the long-term solution, and how can you create business stability in such a hostile environment? First, I must point out that the situation is much less serious than it was a few years ago - a real "wild west."🤠 Some solutions I implement in my business when I get these "attacks": 1) Contacting 3 official Amazon email addresses (I can't list them here because Facebook will remove the post) from 5 different emails. - This helps 50-60% of the time. The email must be short, purposeful, and precise. The email must include all the details about the review you want to remove. 2) If the review is authentic, it is usually accompanied by a message from the customer that he is not satisfied - very simply, I refund his money and compensate him with something small. It really doesn't matter if the customer is right or not. The damage of a negative review is colossal. 👉Don't be overrighteous, be smart. "Feelings" stay out of my business. The approach must be "detached" and focused on the business. Wouldn't you rather refund the customer $50 and avoid a $500 loss? Save yourself from negative vibes and time wastage- just go ahead and issue a refund, alright? :) 3) Continuously gathering reviews has been my routine for years (those who've followed my posts since 2017 are aware of the specific methods I use to boost review counts, hint - bloggers :)). Without this steady stream of reviews, your business lacks direction and can only reach a certain point of growth, but won't surpass it. As Amazon develops an algorithm to distinguish between authentic reviews and fake ones (they're getting closer to it, by the way), dealing with the review problem mostly falls on us sellers. And honestly, the solutions available aren't all that bad, I have to admit. Of course, it's ok to hold Amazon accountable (sometimes they deserve it) for letting this "dirty" game happen. But it's worth knowing that similar tactics occur on other online platforms like Etsy, eBay, Shopify, and more. Ultimately, it's us who hold the responsibility for making our business succeed. ❤️ Gary Levine

#weekend_thoughts Hey everyone! 🌟 Ever thought about your long-term goals in the world of Amazon selling? I've got some thoughts to share on this topic! Selling on Amazon is like having a special opportunity, don't you agree? 🚀 But here's the thing: I've got a hunch that in the future, this “privilege might become limited to a lucky few. 🤔 Take a look at what's happening now – Amazon is being choosy about who can sell, pushing for registered brands, and making it tougher for newbies to jump in (which wasn't the case before). 📦 So, what's your plan for this game? Here are three paths I've been thinking about: •Slowly and smartly build your business, keeping an eye on the future. 🏗️ •Keep it as a side hustle – not the best idea, but a reality for some. ⏳ •Craft an exit strategy – create a strong setup that someone might want to buy in the future. Once sold, you could start anew or explore other ventures! 🌐 After my recent post about www.bargoss.com, I got in touch with two business owners looking to acquire stable businesses and expand their portfolios. 😯 Though I wasn't into exits before, this got me thinking about the bigger picture. I'd love to hear your thoughts! What's your take on this endgame? 🤝 ❤️ Gary

***Don't miss this one*** Selling on Amazon is an incredible opportunity. However, have you considered the possibility of selling your entire business on Amazon for a decent amount and promptly replicating that success with other products? Yes, I'm talking about a real exit! Being a 5-7 figure seller is not a requirement to sell your business. The exit option is available to any seller at any stage! As I previously mentioned, a few weeks back, I had the opportunity to explore various technological startups in the e-commerce sector. Among them, one stood out and captured the audience's attention - "Bargoss," a tech startup spearheaded by a group of ambitious and determined young entrepreneurs. (I finally got their approval to share a small tizzer:)) Not much can be revealed at this stage, but what I can share is that they have initiated a waiting list for the launch of a groundbreaking platform that aims to revolutionize the world of e-commerce, with a specific focus on us - the Amazon sellers. Take my word for it. This startup has received substantial investments, and it has also attracted the participation of major industry players. The waiting list for the launch was opened yesterday, and, of course, it's free of charge. I'm in:) What about you?

Another successful product launch (and the instant connection between reviews and sales) 👉I launched this product (image below) 5 months ago. A relatively simple product in a fairly saturated market. The main reason I chose it is the ability to sell it very cheaply, 20%-25% less than the other leading competitors (Thanks to the fact that I found an excellent supplier at unbeatable prices) *********** My approach at the launch was pretty aggressive and included a full-price giveaway of 120 units for 3 main purposes: 1) Quick index of the product in the search engine. 2) Accumulating reviews 3) Keyword ranking. I use this method (sometimes less aggressively) in all my launches. The reason for the "extra" aggressiveness is my desire to reach Q4 from a powerful position. The product is ideal as a gift, and I expect to sell at least 70-80 units a day on Christmas (currently, the product sells about 40-50 units a day with a net profit of $6 per unit). 👉For those who still do not understand the direct (and instant)connection between reviews and sales, I have attached the graph :) Happy after 4th of July🇺🇸

There is great enthusiasm among Amazon sellers for using AI, and rightly so, but it is important to remember a few things: 1) AI is not a substitute for in-depth and manual research of products. If you decide to use AI, remember you lose a competitive advantage as this tool is available to everyone. There are sub-niches that even AI can't reach - and that's where the big money is. 2) Good, reliable customer service tailored to the needs of the specific customer can only be provided by a human representative. True, there are advanced bots, but how will you react when the bot refuses to give you a refund and won't reach a compromise with you? 3) Using a tool that is accessible to everyone will never give you a competitive advantage over your competitors. You will be "more of the same." 4) A relative advantage of using an AI tool can only be for the first users of the tool. It's a "honeymoon" that lasts exactly a few days... 5) Every "revolution" has a backlash. Google, for example, announced that it would not index/ promote content published with AI. In conclusion, using AI tools can certainly contribute to the development of your business, but it will not replace "boots on the ground", research, negotiations, networking, and trial and error. *** If you think I'm wrong, check out what chatGPT has to say about it: Q: Is AI a replacement for boots on the ground? A: AI can play a significant role in various domains and has the potential to automate certain tasks and processes. However, it is important to understand that AI is not a direct replacement for boots on the ground in all situations. Gary

How do you bring a product that was launched 7 months ago to sell 24 units a day? I launched the product below in mid-November 2022, a little less than 7 months ago, and currently, it sells 24 units a day with a net profit of $6 per unit, which means a monthly profit of $4320. How exactly? In the previous post, I explained the basic rules regarding the first 60 days, which are actually the infrastructure for your product, but what happens the rest of the time? How do you maintain a constant growth rate? As you have noticed in the graphs below, I work systematically, day after day. This is the form of promotion and launch that I have been using for the past 7 years, and with it, I have launched 14 different products. Today I have 7 active and profitable products. Rules: 1) A consistent increase in the number of reviews and ratings on a weekly basis. There are no compromises on the matter. This is the most important parameter for Amazon. Anyone who doesn't understand this is in trouble. I personally have been using the same blogger services for years, and as you notice, the graph does not lie. 2) Target long-tail keywords on a daily basis in two ways: a) Sponsored campaign b) Full-price giveaway * This is especially critical. I am on the first page for my most important keyword. 3) Attractive retail price - I am always 10% cheaper than the leading competitors I can guarantee you 100% that following a correct launch will produce a profitable product for you, even if your product choice was not particularly successful. How to launch or relaunch a product on Amazon (updated for May 2023): 📌 Step one- Make sure your sales page is fully optimized, a-z. This is a technical and important step, don't skip it. The entire launch process is based on your sales page being optimized. 📌 Step two- Determining the retail price. Perhaps the most important thing. At this point in time, the retail price must be attractive and lower than your competitors (15-25% less). The retail price immediately affects the conversion rate and the way Amazon's algorithm indexes the product. Unattractive pricing will "kick" you to the last pages. 🗓 Days 1-17: Giveaway of at least 15-30 products at full price. (Family / Friends / Bloggers / Social Networks). Avoiding this step will make the launch process ineffective. Why giveaway? In order to receive initial reviews and index the product in the search engine. 🗓 Days 18-25: Waiting for 10-15 initial reviews. At this point, you should already start getting a relatively small amount of organic purchases. 🗓 Days 26-40: Running an automated campaign with a bid of $1.2-$1.3 and a daily budget of $30. Why an automated campaign? 2 main reasons: 1) Extracting data from the campaign reports 2) Generating sales 🗓 Days 41-44: Analysis of campaign data (removing “negative” keywords) based on the search term report and creation of manual campaigns. (Broad, Phrase, Exact) “Exact”- If you are a newbie, you can skip it until you get more PPC experience. If you are not a PPC expert, save yourself time and money and outsource it. 🗓 Day 45: Launch the manual campaign with a budget of at least $30 a day. DO NOT turn off the automated campaign under any circumstances. It has an “internal memory,” and its results improve over time. You can reduce the automated campaign budget to $10- $15 per day with a bid of $0.97. 🗓 Day 45+: Daily optimization of the campaigns and the sales page. 🗓 After 50 days, you should be selling organically, although not in large quantities. There are quite a few sellers who, at this stage, that are already selling 15+ units a day organically. If, at this stage, you are selling 0-3 units per day, you are doing something wrong. Possible reasons: High price, bad reviews, bad copywriting, incorrect product index. Consider Collaborating with micro-influencers on TikTok and Instagram. 👉Last and important thing: Try to examine your sales page from the perspective of a potential buyer. If you have difficulty with this - ask people you value for their opinion. If you have any comments/ tips, I would be happy to hear:) Gary ❤️

There will never be a substitute for hard work, research, trial and error, and daily investment in your business. Being inspired by influencers can (sometimes) be beneficial and strengthen motivation. But no one will do the work for you when it comes to the main course - developing your own business.

Sorry to disappoint you. Here are 5 things that will NOT help you improve the performance of your Amazon store: 1) ChatGPT 2) TikToker with a Ferrari 3) Another app that analyzes your sales 4) TikToker with a Lamborghini 5) Dreams and shortcuts *Don't fall into traps.* "You can't sell dreams to someone who has walked through nightmares."
