MFE: Post-Con - BBQ Meet When: Sunday 17th of March 2024, from 11am until 3pm Where: Yarra River BBQ's Hosts: The Brothers (Reggie / Changy | @changymon and Lee / Rave | @DeerLee) Hey folks, We're finally recovering and will be having a post-con meet for everyone, hopefully you're all recharged for more meets. As usual there will be a BBQ with both vego and meat options, and you'll have the pleasure of seeing all of your friends you haven't caught up since our last MFE meet. There are no pre-requisites to being part of the furry fandom. We'd love to have anyone interested in the Furry Fandom attend. If you're skittish about coming, (try) let the admins know. We'll always do our best to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. We understand social events can be daunting, our events normally don't have any scheduled activities to minimise pressure. We strive to make sure our space is welcoming to all attendees as this is a family-friendly and Child Safe event. All the hosts have their appropriate Working with Children’s Check. People of all ages normally attend; as the community grows, newcomers will also include minors. So be mindful of how you conduct yourself amongst other attendees. This meet is an all-ages furry meet, not a pup-play meet so please do not bring harnesses or leashes as these are inappropriate. If you believe something is questionable then we ask that you leave them at home. Terms of Entry to our event include: • If you are under 16, please be accompanied by a Parent, Guardian or friend that is over 18. • Please keep it PG-13 and do not discuss adult / explicit topics conversations. • If you are bringing any possessions, please be responsible about your belongings. Please refrain from bringing more than what a person would reasonably carry. We are not responsible if you lose something that you bought along. You can bring these items to make your time more comfortable: • Snacks for yourself or to share. • Sun-smart items, Slip-Slop-Slap! • Something to do. The chill room is a sensory safe space meant for people who need a space that is quiet and comfortable. Hi all, Please note that the hotel deposit was not set by MFC, we organised the group booking block as part of our hosting of the convention. We do not have any control of the Novotels policy. As a reminder please be kind to hotel staff as they do not any any control over hotel policy.

Hi all, We would like to remind all attendees that the hotel lobby is a public space, please ensure you are taking every measure to not include other hotel guests or members of the public when you are taking photos. The foyer space in front of the headless lounge and photography rooms is available for all attendees to take photos. Thank you!
