Here is my answer: 1. "Theory" added as a discrediting descriptor to imply a failed hypothesis 2. Disrespect by refusing to use commonly popularized original term 3. Supposes an inherent power in naming a thing

Was thinking about a speech by Horace the Avenger @ the TPC conference on how important it is to control language & popularize our linguistic concepts (like "anti-White", for instance). Question: why do you think the Left tried to rebrand The Great Replacement as "Replacement Theory"?

Whenever I see the conspiracy theory stuff about me and Unite the Right bubbling up online it reminds me of all the people saying at the time that I was volatile, ideologically unstable, subversive, etc. Yet I've spent the last 7 years being a responsible, hard working, law abiding political dissident with a pretty consistent message. It should be abundantly clear, in my opinion, that I was the victim of a smear campaign from multiple sides (Antifa, the Richard Spencer camp, conservative and liberal media, etc). People depend on me as a small business owner, an activist and a friend. I would put my dependability and loyalty (when it counts) against any of my detractors any day of the week.

Got mine Monday and read through it that day. Its an easy read and lays out the timeline very well. The links to articles and videos is a nice touch. I'd be nice to have an index though.

Jacob Dix, who will be the first of the Charlottesville tiki defendants to go to trial next month had a hearing on several of his Motions to Dismiss the charges today. The upshot is that one of them survived: the Motion to Dismiss based on the vagueness of the allegations against him (attached). The judge is waiting until trial, when he can hear the evidence, before ruling. This is actually much better for us because: a) it gives Dix multiple routes to beat the charges at trial b) if the judge ruled on it now the prosecution could drag things out with appeals c) if he rules at trial double jeopardy attaches and the ruling cannot be appealed
