🇪🇺Schengen visa will increase in price by 12% from June 11 The Slovenian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs has announced an increase in fees for Schengen visas for short stays. The innovation will come into force on June 11. However, the official statement of the European Union Commission is expected to be published in its official journal before the end of this week. Thus, the cost of a type C visa will increase by 12%. For adults, the cost will be €90, for applicants under 12 years old - €45. For children under six years of age, the visa will be free. It is known that currently the consular fee for adults is €80 for adults and €40 for children from 6 to 12 years old. Reviewing the cost of visas is a standard procedure. Africa’s richest billionaire, Aliko Dangote, has decried difficulties faced by investors travelling on the African continent as he said he needs different 35 visas on his Nigerian passport.
