Hi Awesome Patriots! ❤️🇺🇸
I don’t think there’s anything nefarious happening with Telegram per se (at least in this case). Looks like it was an automatic bot doing its job. Nonetheless, it is a bunch of hooey that, “… forwarded them to our team of moderators for inspection. The moderators have confirmed the report…” A team of human moderators cannot turn around within seconds of so-called forwarded reports and determine messages are spam.
I will take the slap on the hand from Telegram because I refuse to admit I did anything wrong. Maybe someone reported me. Sounds like something my brother would do 🙃
I get that some wouldn’t want me in their foxhole because they just know I would be the type to make cool laser “pew-pew” sounds. And I would probably start singing Abba’s Fernando. Their loss ‘cause you just know I’m going to have cookies with me 😃
Good news Friday will be posted soon!

Dear ThinMint,
I’m afraid some Telegram users found your messages annoying and forwarded them to our team of moderators for inspection. The moderators have confirmed the report and your account is now limited until 6 Sep 2021, 17:59 UTC.
While the account is limited, you will not be able to do certain things on Telegram, like writing to strangers who haven’t contacted you first or adding them to groups and channels.
Your account will be automatically released on 6 Sep 2021, 17:59 UTC. Please note, that if you keep doing what got you limited and users report you again, the limitations will last longer next time.

👉🏻 Change of plans. Telegram has prevented me from sending the private link to y'all for the prayer group because someone reported me as spam (or so Telegram claims). They won’t release me until September 6th (because I refuse to admit I did something wrong). If you would like to be added to the prayer group then you will need to send me a private message. This is the only way I can keep the group private (to avoid spam and bots) and you can get to the group. Thanks for your understanding and patience!
EDIT TO ADD: Check the comment section for a temporary invite link

For the next month I will be praying for God’s Spirit to move over the earth; for the salvation of souls; and for protection over the nations, our leaders, our communities and our families.
I am starting a chat group and anyone who wants to commit to praying specifically for His divine intervention, His help, His guidance and for His peace to be deeply rooted in our hearts is welcome to join me.
This group will be private so an invite link will be sent to those interested in participating this month long endeavor. Let me know in the comment section, and please be patient as I get folks added 🙂

President Trump joined Intercessors for America on September 2, 2021. Here’s his portion of the video call.

WHO OWNS YOU?
by Cowardly Lion
Think about this concept for a minute or two. Who Owns You? Who is entitled to the product of your hands, head or heart? Who has first claim on your life? To whom do you have to answer for decisions that determine your direction, your plans, your dreams and goals?
Some of you reading this will have given over at least some portion of your life to a personal Savior. Others will have given over some of their life to a significant other. But, what is the true answer?
The true and honest answer is, you own you. The cases mentioned above are legitimate only with voluntary relinquishment of control, and even then you are still the final arbiter of your thoughts, words and deeds.
Important note: you own not only your thoughts, words and deeds, you own the results, both the production and the consequences.
Here's a heads-up: the government, any government at every level, thinks it owns you. While some of us protest the government's hand in our pockets, vast numbers rely on the government owning the consequences of their actions. Big bank and corporate bailouts, generations of welfare recipients whose only productive activity is gaming the system, you know what I'm talking about.
Some governments, we usually refer to them as totalitarian or dictatorships, implement this practice openly. This is what happens with a disarmed populace. Other governments, usually referred to as democracies or republics, pretend you have a modicum of control over your own life by periodically holding what are loosely termed elections. This is where a majority of the votes, gathered either legally or illegally, are used to determine what shall be done with your life.
And this is what is going on in the United States of America right now. More and more special interest groups believe they have a claim on your life, your earnings, your savings, even your personal protection. And if they can garner enough votes, they get it.
So, who owns you? Is it your neighbors, your alleged representatives, or an administration deciding they know what's best and writing executive orders? No. You own you, and you alone are responsible for all of your thoughts, words and deeds. Anything taken from you aside from voluntary agreement is theft. The consequences of your actions aren't included because you cannot abdicate that responsibility. The 'I was only following orders' defense doesn't hold water.
Who Owns You?

What if... Americans haven’t been paying attention to what the Elites have been doing?
What if... Americans believed the “if only’s” their chosen phony political party spewed?
What if... Americans knew what those slimy politicians were up to, but felt helpless to change the status quo?
What if... Americans weren’t too busy raising their children and working hard to get involved?
What if... Americans aren’t the deplorable, unenlightened chattel the oligarchy thinks they are?
What if... Americans are decent, compassionate, generous, fiercely brave folks who are proud to be an American?
What if... Americans remember the staunchness and determination of the Founding Fathers?
What if... Americans made their homes, their neighborhoods, their communities a beacon of freedom?
What if... Americans joined forces for a common good and collectively turned against their would be tyrants?
What if... Americans decided it’s time to make America Great Again?
They would be unstoppable.

BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
1 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tbsp. water
1 lb. confectioner's sugar (approximately 4 cups, 5 if you want a less buttery flavor)
Cream butter, vanilla, and water. Add confectioner's sugar, one cup at a time, mixing until well combined.
Chef’s note: This buttercream is super adaptable! I’ve used almond extract and peppermint extract; added in white chocolate and mocha cappuccinos; whipping cream in place of water; cocoa powder. It’s a lot of fun to experiment with different flavors. For frosting 8” round cakes, I do recommend doubling the recipe. This freezes fine, and can stay refrigerated for about 10 days. If left out during warmer weather it will melt so cakes will require refrigeration. This is one of the most requested recipes I get.

This is my go-to chocolate cake/cupcake recipe. It was adapted from Hershey’s, using butter in place of oil, and reducing the sugar a bit. I’ve been using this for about 8 years and always get compliments wherever the cake is brought.
PERFECT CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 ½ cups sugar
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup cocoa
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, room temperature
1 cup milk
½ cup butter, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, butter and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks.
Chef’s note: If using a hand mixer, I follow the recipe in order. If using a stand mixer I have followed the recipe all willy-nilly without issues. / Secret tip: Crush 8-10 Oreos then add after mixing in the boiling water.

Speaking of cake, I found a list of interesting cake facts that American President Grover Cleveland compiled specifically for AskJeeves® in 1998:
- Esau actually traded his birthright for a slice of cake but Moses changed it to a bowl of stew.
- As a joke, God told Moses that the 11th commandment will be, “Thou shalt eat cake every Tuesday.”
- The timeless classic, The Boy Who Cried Wolf was originally titled, “The Boy Who Just Wanted To Eat Cake.” Aesop changed the storyline after realizing poor villagers didn’t know what cake was.
- Archimedes discovered future calculus after eating cake.
- Julius Caesar was the one to coin the Latin phrase, "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche" [Let them eat cake]. He was stabbed when Brutus caught him sneaking off with the cake from the office breakroom.
- On the other side of the iconic Magna Carta is a cake recipe.
- George Washington famously said to his fellow Jamestown pilgrims, “If I don’t eat cake soon, I will surely die.”
- Michael Dukakis lost his presidential bid during the 1956 race when he rejected his campaign manager’s excellent advice to offer cake to anyone who voted for him.
- ThinMint will gladly send cake recipes to anyone who isn’t offended by the above satire.

Though I have made smaller fondant objects, those woodland animals are not my creation. The cake and icing is homemade.

Yes, we need to diligently work on our preps. Yes, we need to prayerfully consider God’s direction for our lives. Yes, we need to support the brave Patriots who are boldly standing up to tyranny.
You know what else we need to do? Take breaks. Spend time relishing the lovely moments in our lives.
It’s tumultuous out there. It’s unpredictable, it’s upsetting, it’s anarchic.
You know where it isn’t? In our home. We work hard to create an atmosphere of goodness and beauty for our kids. We will not allow the tendrils of evil to touch our children.
Today, my youngest has turned 5.
She doesn’t know what lurks out there. Today, her world is bright and cheery. And by making sure it is so, my husband and I benefit from temporarily ignoring the chaotic world outside our home.
Sometimes we just need to embrace these tender moments in our lives. 5 is a milestone for her, and we celebrate it, our hearts overwhelmed over what God has gifted to us.
And cake just happens to make everything more merry 😊
