āWeāre in the middle of the world climbing into the handbasket. Why on earth would I need BookBuddy?!ā
Because sometimes we just need to let the world be crazy outside while we are finding peace inside our home. And if youāre a book lover then you know exactly what I am talking about.
Plus organizing can be quite calming and liberating.

Iāll give you an example of how you can customize.
Letās say you have a biography on Abraham Lincoln. You can add the tags: US President, Illinois, Civil War, slavery, Gettysburg, US history, 1800s, assassinations. Then whenever you are looking for that topic, his biography book will pop up.
The app allows you to add your own category (this is separate from genre), location of the book, and if you loaned it out and to whom. You can sort books by author, publisher, genre, series, title and date published.
Most books can be scanned, and the information will automatically fill in along with a picture. If you cannot scan your book you can either search for it online, select then it will fill in, or you can manually enter the book information. Though scanning will automatically provide the bookās picture, you can also take your own picture.
(PS ā Thereās also MovieBuddy and MusicBuddy)

Iām a simple, pragmatic gal so I donāt have a lot of useless apps just hanging around unused.
We have almost 1500 books in our household (almost 700 on my Kindle) so I needed a way to keep everything organized. More so for homeschooling purposes.
About two years I downloaded BookBuddy for like $4 after trying the free version. I absolutely love it and rely it! Super user-friendly and I appreciate all the features that come with it to customize my own database. Very handy to have access to my inventory when Iām out and about looking to purchase books, or even browsing online.

Benedict Arnold is the archetypal traitorāor was he? When his fellow officers foil his treachery in the nick of time, Arnold flees to British lines in New York City, the most wanted man in America. Now, three months later, a young woman joins him. Clem Shippen is as skilled in the kitchen as she is homely, a cousin-in-law with scarce prospects for marriage who has previously served as Arnoldās cook. But this time thereās an added ingredient: she is also a spy for General George Washington. He hopes to kidnap the traitorous Arnold and smuggle him back to American lines for trial and execution with Clemās enthusiastic help. Enthusiastic, that is, until she realizes that Arnold may be a hero after allāand uncovers explosive information trying her fate and that of the new country to his. A novel of espionage, heartbreakingly close calls, and profound betrayal, this will entrance you from its opening pages to its surprising denouement!

Abducting Arnold, is another great read from Becky Akers. Of course, Becky paints a more thorough picture of Benedict Arnold than what we learned in elementary school. I also got a clearer picture of what it was like for Patriots to live during the time of British occupation.

Description:
āMeet the American Revolutionās most endearing hero: Nathan Hale, the 21-year-old spy who "only regretted he had but one life to give for his country." Caught between honor and romance, Nathan must forfeit the woman he hopes to marry, even as a rival for her hand vows to win her at any cost. Their contest culminates in a British Artillery Park when Nathan hangs for espionage ā but, in a surprising twist, still triumphs.ā

Sometimes we just donāt have it in us to take one more proactive step. Clicking on links, looking over our favorite channels and watching TikTok videos seems tiresome. If youāre thinking of taking a brief break from it all yet you still want to feel āconnected,ā may I recommend two books for your leisure reading?
If youāre a lover of historical fiction, and American history in particular, or you just enjoy a good read check out Becky Akers two books, Halestorm and Abducting Arnold.
I knew exactly what happens to Nathan Hale, yet I found myself on the edge of my seat, rooting for his escape.

We have a four part plan to do something about what's happening. 1. Sign the Declaration of Constitutional Consent and send to the White House and Governor of your state at a minimum. www.restore-liberty.org. 2. Push your Governors and Legislators to declare your state a Constitutional Sanctuary (if the Governor is weak then push counties and cities). 3. Identify constitutional candidates for offices at all levels, we will track them, vet them, and endorse them on our website. 4. We are creating constitutional coaches to teach the constitution and civics for all ages. Help us pass a big message and work to solve the violation of constitutional principles nationwide, clearly government at many levels is in breach of contract with We the People. We us the slogan: "A Republic if YOU Can Keep It" The goal of saving a nation is possible if YOU get involved.
