UPDATE on vaccine mandate for my husband’s job. (A reminder that he is federal contractor.)
He spoke with the head of HR today. She said per EO #14042, a person is not considered fully vaccinated until 14 days after their second shot. The deadline for full vaccination is December 8th. He told her that he will not get the vaccine then she immediately said she will email him the medical/religious exemption form to fill out. He didn’t even get a chance to say that’s what he wants to do! So this weekend I will help him work on the verbiage for the exemption. There’s no guarantee it will be granted, but it’s certainly something to try and trust God about.
Although I want you to be productive this weekend, I hope you also 👇🏻

There was a 6.1 magnitude earthquake on October 7th centered in the Chiba prefecture, just east of Tokyo, at a depth of 80 kilometers (48 miles) at 10:41 pm local time (9:41 am EST) according to the AP.
Friends living about 30 minutes away from the center reported it to me about an hour later and I immediately hopped online to see what was happening. The only recognizable sources posting about it was RT News.
Here are some highlights from my friends:
• There were low flying military helicopters over the area minutes after the quake. Though they could be looking for damages, you don’t need as many as what were flying, and you don’t need military jets.
• Could not find any breaking news about the earthquake, especially American outlets.
• There have been reports about blackouts in certain areas of the city and when people posted about the blackouts the comments were taken down.
• One of the major train stations in Tokyo (Shinagawa) was totally black. Tokyo which is known to have earthquakes and may need emergency back up power; but the station had no back up power?
• There were two helicopters directly over our area of Tokyo doing circle patterns. You wouldn't need 2 helicopters just to spot fires. There is no damage, no one died, so why the crazy reaction? And these helicopters were going over the city all night, and not just quickly.
• Water pipes underground have busted all over the city and the surrounding area outside where the earthquake happened. There are people who have lived here their whole life and this has never happened.
• Don't know if we can trust all the reported information.
• If it was that deep for it to shake that much… it's not reasonable.
• After the one big shake that lasted like four seconds, it reverberated for a very long time like two minutes from where we were. All earthquakes are different, but most of them are longer shakes in waves; this was just one big jolt and then very light long reverberation.
A couple of hours ago when I went back online, I saw that AP and Forbes had posted something about the earthquake, but I couldn’t find the RT article I had read earlier. There are a few oddities surrounding this, and I just thought y’all would want to read a patriot’s on the ground perspective.

We need to think about how those we love will react to the uncomfortable truths –if you haven’t already. They will be distraught, distressed, maybe unstable, traumatized. Unfortunately we may need to prepare for their anger being directed towards us. We need to ask God to prepare us for this stage of the healing process.
For those of you who have family nearby or think your house may become a beacon for the aggrieved, what can you do to welcome them? This is another reason some of us may need to take a break from red pilling; so we can prepare our homes to receive the hurting. We want our homes to be a place for them to receive gentle hugs and reassuring words. We want our friends and family to feel nurtured in our presence, even if our role is to be a quiet listener.
I don’t know about you, but one of the ways I take care of others is providing them homemade meals and baked goods. For example, if you bake then freeze some breads and cookies now, you’ll be able to provide little comforts later. Can you picture pouring them a cup of warmth and offering a plate of something delicious? No, it won’t erase the ugly, but it might be a welcome balm.
5 500
How can you continue to be devoted to your loved ones without it affecting your peace of mind?
If we’re stepping back, taking a break and choosing not to share all the uncomfortable truths, what do we do until they are awakened?
We’ve touched on this before: perhaps our time to help is after the storm has passed. So until the time we’re called to step back in, we need to forgive those who have lashed out against us, mocked us, belittled us. We should be dedicated to building a stronger, personal relationship with the Lord. We should be reading the bible, praying earnestly, worshipping Him, seeking Him and knowing Him.
Do what it takes to invigorate your courage, rouse your confidence, replenish your faith.
Remember, taking a break is not the same as forfeiting the victory.

When Christ was on the cross, He prayed for the people below. He knew they acted out of fear, their deliberate ignorance blinding them to the truth. Their irrational choices did not sway His devotion. His example is for us, too.
We can simultaneously forgive those who have hurt and rejected us, and remain devoted to our loved ones even while we run the individual race set before us. Our imperfect example might then be the inspiration they need to join us. As they saying goes, sometimes you can’t tell them, you have to show them.
Maybe for you there is no mountain you won’t climb, no river you won’t cross to help others. Maybe for you the load has become too heavy and you cannot take another step.
Sometimes we absolutely have to walk away. I’m certainly not suggesting you cut of all communications the way I had to with my non-bio Dad. I am suggesting however, that maybe we need to re-evaluate how involved we are in the process of waking up those around us. Is there a point when God wants us to let go and let Him?
5 500
We helplessly watch as those we care about allow themselves to be transformed. We know the media apparatus warps minds, manipulates emotions and ferments disquiet. We know the pharmaceutical elites eschews the populace. We know the military industrial complex rejects peace. We know the educational system wants obedient plebs. All of these wicked conglomerates, though effective, are vaporous tentacles to a darker unseen nucleus.
Maybe it’s time for us to quietly step back so we’re not caught in the crosshairs of God obliterating these evil entities. And maybe for some of us that means we need to retreat, focus on preparing our homes. Maybe it means we need to stop waking up those who refuse to be informed, those who trade truth for lies.
Each of us has to decide when it’s costing us too much to help others. Maybe that never happens for you. Maybe it has already cost you everything.

I am in love with God. Over and over He shows how He is intimately and thoroughly invested in my life. When my heart was breaking He didn’t show me anger, He didn’t condemn my choices. When He knew the time was right, He tenderly showed me how I needed to change my perspective –because this would transform me. That leap of faith I took, that letting go of my hurty feelings, this wasn’t about restoring something to my Dad, who had knowingly destroyed me; He did it to settle my restless mind and mend my broken heart.
He knew before I did. He knew the unbearable pain I would shoulder, He knew all the tears that I would shed –and He had a plan. He was patient, He was gentle, He was compassionate.
This is something available to all who trust Him. And He is worthy of our faith.
When the situation seems daunting, insurmountable, overwhelming and even dangerous in our eyes, that’s when He shows us why He is the only One Who can.
Turn your sorrow, your fear, your uncertainty and your pride over to Him, exchanging it for His kind of peace, joy and love. He can take our loneliness, our grief, our resentment, and give us something miraculous in return. Never give up on God.

For those who are estranged from those they love, it feels some could benefit from this story I shared around Father’s Day…
My non-bio Dad hurt me beyond repair. I had to walk away. For roughly 12 years I lived my life free of his physical presence. I never, not once, during this time felt guilt. And God, knowing me so fully, never pushed me, never tugged on my heart. He knew I needed this time to reflect, heal and to grow emotionally and spiritually.
As my husband and I struggled to start our family, I focused on being physically healthy. God in His infinite wisdom knew there was little point to a healthy body if one’s mind and spirit are unwell. I began to feel the tug on my heart to forgive my Dad. I didn’t even fight it because I knew I needed to do this for my sake. It was hard in the sense that the unforgiveness was a part of my identity: “The Girl Who Didn’t Speak To Her Father.” It’s all I knew for the last 12 years and it was scary not knowing what lay ahead.
I did forgive him, and this opened up the gate for the Holy Spirit to show me who else needed to have that grudge I was carrying dropped. It was most definitely a spiritual matter that had physical repercussions. Within a month of my “letting go and letting God,” I got pregnant with our twins. Nothing will ever change my mind that these events aren’t linked.
About a year after connecting with my Dad (no fanfare, no telling him I forgave him) just simply communicating, I felt the desire to meet with him. We lived 1000 miles and years apart for so long, it was nerve-wracking. Shortly after making this decision, we learned that he was dying. We expedited our plans so he could met his grandchildren. Four months later, he passed away.
