The miracle of the widow’s olive oil in 2 Kings 4:1-7
Now a wife of one of the prophets appealed to Elisha for help, saying, “Your servant, my husband is dead. You know that your servant was a loyal follower of the Lord. Now the creditor is coming to take away my two boys to be his servants.” Elisha said to her, “What can I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” She answered, “Your servant has nothing in the house except a small jar of olive oil.” He said, “Go and ask all your neighbors for empty containers. Get as many as you can. Go and close the door behind you and your sons. Pour the olive oil into all the containers; set aside each one when you have filled it.” So she left him and closed the door behind her and her sons. As they were bringing the containers to her, she was pouring the olive oil. When the containers were full, she said to one of her sons, “Bring me another container.” But he answered her, “There are no more.” Then the olive oil stopped flowing. She went and told the prophet. He said, “Go, sell the olive oil. Repay your creditor, and then you and your sons can live off the rest of the profit.”

What are Believers to do?
We know that we worship the same God of Job, Moses, Daniel, Ester, David, John and Paul. The bible reveals His unchanging character so we should be encouraged that He is constant. We know that His promises are true. We know that that His love is available to us. We know that if the Bible tells us to not be afraid, we know not to be afraid.
So if the God of yesterday did the miraculous for those who loved Him, isn’t He capable of doing the miraculous today for those of us who love Him?

@ ThinMInt – Went to Walmart on 8/8/21 because I wanted a one-stop for various items plus I wanted to check the inventory status. The Walmart nearest us is located in a semi hoity-toity town, known for its cleanliness, higher end retail and very expensive housing. We’ve lived in this area for 14 years and are obviously familiar with how Walmart appears. What we witnessed Sunday was shocking. It went beyond countless empty shelves. The floors were dirty, sticky in some places with huge dust bunnies; empty boxes were stacked all over the store; shelves were dilapidated with trim hanging off; this time of year the clothing for fall and winter is put out; there was nothing. [Are cargo ships being held back? Especially those between Walmart and China?!?]
I didn’t get pictures of it, but the shoe displays were sparse; the school supplies were depleted (somewhat expected) and extremely messy; the backpack and purse section was practically bare; toys seemed relatively stocked. The meat and lunchmeat section was reduced, as well as the produce and baked goods. The checkout lines were very long, particularly the self-checkout area.
It was depressing walking through the store. Not just because so much inventory was visibly missing, but also because it looked so rundown.
Even if folks are going along with the fear being stirred up by The Powers That Be over a covid resurgence or the “new variants,” no one I’ve spoken to in person has raised concerns about needing to prep.
There must be a sense among the populace that something is coming however.

Here are what some patriots have noted. (Please share your experiences in the comment section.)
@ sonia - Here in NY, we have noticed a lack of salt, sugar, and gallons of water. Tissues and TP.
@ kjw – In west Michigan tuna, toilet bowl cleaner, canned beans. Dollar Tree store is 30-40% empty shelves.
@ sandra - Sugar, flour, rice, oils, canned beans etc (Pacific northwest). I checked Wal-Mart dot com because I was curious. Most dry food items won't ship you have to pick it up at the store and they put limit on items just like in 2020.
@ amy - My grocery stores are not affected at all (Utah). And that’s probably to keep Utahans asleep. They are doing things behind closed doors in our government that Utahans would never stand for!

“A person reading Revelation 6:5-6 in the first century A.D. would have read that a denarius would buy only enough wheat to make 1.5 to 1.875 1 lbs loaves of bread instead of 25 loaves of bread. This would represent between a 1333% and a 1667% increase in price! The very dramatic rise in the price of wheat that John described indicates a great food shortage will come. Food prices rarely rise this much without a major supply shortage.” - Wayne Croley

Are things looking more biblical? Perhaps.
"And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” (Revelation 6:5-6)
There are some who interpret the above verse to mean that God-fearing folks will not be harmed (because we are the oil and wine). However, there is no reason to believe the above verse is symbolism. We already know that Christ followers will not be subjected to God’s wrath –though we will certainly witness events firsthand and even be touched by the effects of the world’s judgment.
With the events of food shortages and inflationary prices we see unfolding around us, we can take the precise prediction of these verses as literal confirmation of a food crisis.

LEFT: United Natural Foods distribution center closing notice for the Pacific-Northwest. This is temporary, but it wouldn't surprise if this is not the last of such an event.
RIGHT: Notice of the closure at local Ray's Food Place grocery store.

Here’s what else we know:
- Tyson is requiring employees get the covid vaccine. This may intensify labor shortages, which will impact food supply.
- There are upheavals, corrupt deals, protests and weather phenomena in other parts of the world.
- French wine production falls to historic low after vineyards devastated by severe frost.
- A carbon tax on meat, which has been proposed at a United Nations food summit, would shut down Australia’s cattle industry and could potentially starve 80 million people.
- U.S. and Canadian farmers are bracing for a smaller spring wheat harvest due to the driest conditions in decades. Severe weather damages crops across the hemisphere, from heat scorching cherries in the U.S. Pacific Northwest to frost chilling sugarcane in Brazil.
- Heat and drought aren't the only issues US farmers in the drought-stricken North and West are dealing with. Grasshoppers are also destroying pasture grass and crops.
- Big Corrupt Money has purchased US farmland.
- Then there are the floods and droughts.
A lot of us assume that the Cabal has been manipulating weather for decades. Of course, this whiplash of warming/cooling makes the plants give up and kills the pollinators.

We also know:
- Trump signed an Executive Order in April 2020 compelling the nation's meat packing plants, many which closed because of covid-19 outbreaks, to stay open as part of "critical infrastructure" in the United States thus preventing a meat shortage.
- Rep Thomas Massie (KY) has been trying to pass the PRIME Act (Processing Revival and Intrastate Meat Exemption). This legislation lifts restrictions on small business meat processing plants that aren’t allowed to supply restaurants, schools, hotels, and the like. “Let those small meat processors fill in the gaps so that we don’t have the dangerous situation where we’re euthanizing animals instead of providing them as food,” Massie said. It has not passed yet.

We can take these gentlemen at their word while we look for more proof. So what do we know for sure?
- We do know without a shadow of a doubt that globalists have been at this food manipulation for a long time. Communist regimes starved millions in the 20th Century.
- FDR signed the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938, which distributed subsidies to farmers to reduce the surplus of crops.
- The Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) was created in 1985 to incentivize landowners to leave some of their marginal land unplanted
Okay, that’s a simple overview of history. What about current events?
- The Biden administration announced on April 21, 2021 that it would expand the 1985 program in a government-wide effort to cut greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030. The new initiative will incentivize farmers to take land out of production by raising rental rates and incentive payments.
- The US Bureau of Reclamation closed a canal in Upper Klamath Lake According to local media, leaving thousands of farmers on the Oregon-California border without a steady water supply after the closure of the canal.
- California’s State Water Board unanimously approved an emergency order in early August that prohibits some Central Valley farmers from irrigating their crops using water diverted from rivers and streams. The measure is expected to go into effect on August 16, 2021. It's estimated that 5700 farmers will be effected.
