For many, Winter Solstice is about family—a time to gather, share stories, and celebrate the cycles of life. Historically, it’s been a time to honor the turning point where the days begin to grow longer, bringing hope and renewal. But for me, Winter Solstice is more than just about family. It’s a day of rebirth and alignment, a chance to reconnect with the powerful energies within and around me. It’s the day the Red Phoenix and Grappling Hook rises, not with vengeance, but with passion, purpose, and a touch of flair. (Okay, maybe more than a touch—who doesn’t love a dramatic entrance?) 😆 So while others light the fire for warmth, I light it for transformation. Recently, some good friends reached out to me for advice on choosing their new property. As you might imagine, there’s a LOT to consider—your current lifestyle, long-term goals, and of course, immediate priorities. One common question I hear is: “What if there’s an electrical substation nearby?” Here’s a practical rule of thumb to keep in mind: 📏 Size matters: If the substation (or supposed sha qi) takes up only about 25% or less of your total land space, you’re in the clear. It won’t significantly affect the property’s energy or safety. ⚠️ When to be cautious: You need to be wary if: 1️⃣ The substation is almost 60% the size of your home or even larger. 2️⃣ It is accompanied by a large pylon or other sha qi. Both factors combined can influence the energy flow around your property, which might affect your well-being in the long run. Hope this helps! 😊🙌
