Dear All Tips for Comparative Politics. First of all you must know that CP contains minimum weightage in exam( approx 1-2, max 3-4 questions). However that doesn't mean that we can totally ignore this portion. We must focus on this section of the syllabus if we are targeting good universities like DU, JNU etc. One thing to note here is that your first priority should be to cover major portion of the syllabus like Polity, theory, IR etc. After completing major portion, you should move towards smaller topics. Well ! If this much is understood let me tell you about sources. So the standard source is JC Johari' comparative Politics. But as being a senior of you all, i can understand that it is not easy to cover this book😒🥲. Book is very bulky. So question might arise - is there any alternative to JC Johari? Yes ! If you feel that you don't have much time, then I would recommend you to prepare CP from two major YouTube channels- 1. Saar Success channel - watch all videos of comparative Politics and make notes out of them. (Making notes is compulsory🙄😄) 2. Eduseeker channel - watch all videos &make notes. If you cover their videos with dedication, you would be able to handle the CP portion very easily. But remember- mere watching videos won't help. Sit &make notes out of videos and then revise them too. 😉 Best wishes! ☺️🌿

Pro tip for CUET Are you confused with respect to how to prepare for entrances ? Are you feeling uncertain about preparation? Are you the one who is thinking that you don't know how to make notes for entrances? If yes ! Then relax!! If these questions are arising in your mind then you are going in the right direction. 😄 These are very obvious questions which every aspirant would face. ☺️ Keep studying! Don't panic about selection and all. If you are giving your best in preparation, results will come automatically. No matter whether you are a student of a local university or central universities like DU, if you are consistent during your preparation, you would crack the exam easily. Pro Tip for CUET Since this exam contains a good portion of factual information, you have to devise mechanisms for remembering factual information. I've used "Sticky Notes" to remember some important facts/article/authors /books. You can use this method for remembering factual information for longer durations. I've also made certain tricks in Polity. For example - I'd made a story to remember all articles of DPSP, Mnemonic to remember States with legislative councils and many more. You can also make small tricks to remember facts. Making tricks & remembering facts via self-made tricks/stories would make your preparation more interesting & enjoyable. ☺️😄

Best source for IR Must read chapters - Chapter no - 3,4, 6,7,8,9,10,11,12,21,22,23 ,24,28,29,30, 31, 32 Note- Above mentioned chapters are must read chapters only. But nothing is stopping you from reading the whole book. I would recommend you to read the whole book, if possible. If you read the whole book, your confidence would be unparalleled. ✌️ For Hindi Medium Students - I know that people belonging to hindi medium might face some issues while reading this book. But i would request you to stick to this book only. This is the best source for IR. No other source can substitute it. Try to read it multiple times, you will be able to get it. I would suggest you to watch a video lecture on topics before picking up any chapter to read in this book. For example - if you want to read "Realism", then you should first watch a video lecture on YouTube on Realism, and then read it from the book. It will help you to understand easily.

Pro Tips for CUET In polity, President is an important topic. But along with theoretical knowledge about president, you must have practical knowledge about tenures of different Presidents till now. Many times questions are asked from their life or their tenure. For example - Who used Absolute veto in PEPSU Appropriation bill ? Pro Tip for CUET Polity contains good weightage in your entrances. And within polity, Constitutional amendments cover a good portion. So my sincere advice to you all would be that you must cover important constitutional amendments. (From 1st amendment to recent ones) This year also there were three direct questions from amendments. (3 questions mean 12 numbers in exam😋) Here I'm sharing a good source to cover all amendments. You can watch one video daily. And don't forget to make notes of these amendments.
