Roseola اهم شي نتذكر انه ال fever وال rash ماينجمعون سوا ابد تروح الفيفر يظهر ال rash لون الراش يكون rose وردي يطول ٣ايام ويروح الفيفر تكون high grade Occur in infants Transmission by saliva

Erythema infectiosum Fifth disease (جانو يسهلون الحفظ عدهم جملة مرتبيها انه خامس كلمة هي هايه انه الراش يطلع ب خامس يوم) Most often occur school age 4-12yrs Causative agent is parvovirus B19 Clinical course ::: Headache , coryza low grade fever 2-3 day then exanthema appear after 7 or 5 day Firstly slapped 👋 check appearance in this stage child not infectious Then after 1-4 day lacy reticular rash appear (صورة سلايد يجي) Third stage is 1-3 wk increase in intensity of rash Tx is supportive مشكلته يهاجم ال اكتيف بون مارو جماعة الثالاسيميا و السيكل و السفيروسايتوسيس يهاجم ال RBC precursors Lead to aplastic anemia May need blood transfusion Cause reticocytopenia for 7to10 day Good prognosis Case scenario child with thalassemia recived blood each 4month now each 4day what the dx Parvovirus B19

Rubella الحصبة الالمانية Case scenario Fever for 48h and rash appear then continue for 24h duration then disappeared dx is rubella Mild in childhood but sever in adulthood Infectivity 10 days after infection,14 days after rash Clinical course Exantham last 3days appear first on face rapidly down to trunk and extremity Forchheimer spot pin point spot on soft palate but not pathognomonic LAP special occipital and post auricular Complication Most serious in pregnant 🤰 is congenital rubella syndrome Most serious in non pregnant is arthritis Other complication ::: Thrombocytopenia ,encephalitis

Measles: Case scenario Fever high grade 3 day duration then rash appear and fever persist this is measels Couriza (flue like illness) +cough + conjuctivitis (photophobia) then koplik spot appears on the buccoul mecosa (enantham ) then after 3 days the rash appear red to purple in color start from head until feet and when the rash disappeared by the same way from head to toe Measles is due to viral infection highly contiguous يعني واحد دخل للقاعة و عنده حصبه كل الي بالقاعة يصير عدهم Transmission by air droplet 2days before symptoms appear and 4days after rash appear Complication Most common is otitis media Most common complication for admission is pneumonia Also cause diarrhoea,encephalitis, bronchitis , sub acute sclerosing pan encephalitis appear after 10 yr . Dx clinical and epidemiology يعني من الاعراض واذا احد عنده حصبة بالعائله Tx supportive tx Give vaccinations for unvaccinated children in school of this child withen 72h
