Those random thoughts that pop into our mind...those emotions we can't explain, that talent hidden in us... they create abstract....they create us. @WordQueen @green_warden001

A response to my prayer And still I remain, After all that has happened I chose to stay Yet you still push me away. I tell you that I am with you But you fear that I have left Why are you so insecure? Have I not been faithful to you? Guilt is written all over your face, Is there something your hiding? I see shame dragging you down, Have you not received my mercy? I see fear in your eyes. Do you believe that I have forsaken you? Tell me what troubles you during the day? What bothers you during the night ? Am I not worthy of your trust? Do you think I will point out and laugh at your weakness? Is that how little you think of me? You must not know me then, Let me introduce myself I was with you from day one Before you decide I was the one, And now I look at your life with pity Am not disappointed am just sorry that you're in pain. Instead of working on your self, you decided to walk away, One step forward and two step back Like a dog returning to it's old habit. Wake up from your nightmare The snake has gotten wrapped around your neck Its fangs deep in your neck Venoms flowing in your vains Like old habits die hard make sure the demons are knocked out Before it's too late and they take your soul deep underground. Wake up to reality You keep running in circles Walked for forty days But you haven't moved an inch, You are right where you started. So much for the fire of change This can't be fixed in a jiffy It will take from a moment to a while, On this bumpy ride for your souls peace and rest My offer still remains if you want my guiding hand. My mercy is deeper than the ocean, And my love is bigger than this world, My grace flows like a river, And my kindness never ends. Take the chains of your wings Lay the burdens on my back Throw your worries out the window Kick the doubt out of your heart Rest your head upon my shoulders For I have loved you before the beginning of time. *efx*

We now live in a world were we have to choose between speaking the right thing or speaking the truth. Sometimes I wonder, when did these things become so different from each other?

Blindfold Whatever is conceived in the dark will remain in darkness because it does not know light, It does not know how to see, it does not know the difference between closing and opening its eyes, It matters not if it's wearing a blindfold, Because what it knows is darkness. It does not trust the light, It hides in fear of the unknown It shies away from the faintest glimpse the sun shines. Whatever is conceived in the dark will wish to remain in the dark, Because the dark is familiar And familiarity brings comfort. It will want to stay in darkness because it believes it cannot survive in the light, Because if it survives in the light its eyes would no longer be useless, And they would see all that it has missed all this years. So it choose not to go out into the light because it fears it has already missed out on its time and is too late for it to adopt. But all of this is only relevant in its mind because, it believes darkness to be better but no matter its belief it doesn't change the truth that is "It is better to stay in the light rather than the dark". *efx*

Read this until you understand it! "Humility is not denying our strength, but admitting our weakness." *Rick Warren* "Let us not boast with what we don't have and let us not undermine our own value." *efx*

Moments between moments I have climbed the top of mountains Swam arcoss the seas I have sat on a sandy beach Looking beyond the Pacific ring I have surfed some waves Been buried in sand And throughout all my journey I have been humbled down I now know my insignificance I am nothinh but a smut My existence is a miracle And my time here is limited I have learned to treasure the mundane It's the moments in between moments That give life momentum and meaning *efx*

Have been giving it a thought of late, Was I always an artist so unimaginative ? Or simply just an incomprehensible pleiomorph Plagiarising my dark self's thoughts and initiatives !! Ain't I acting like a remorseful ravager To hide all those horrible deeds of mine ? Or as the proud bard thinks of himself A Samaritan, releasing a strangulated cry to shine ? Is the path set by destiny still persists While I seem to be stuck in a myriad of misery.. Can I experience myself levitating in love for once Rather than frequently dealing with treachery ?

? In times of weakness In times of pain When the sky is at its darkest When the clock strikes midnight Why is the evil all consuming Why do misfortunes feel like my fate Where do I run towards Where is a safe place to hide Who is willing to lend an arm Who is there to lift you up high Whoes shoulders are strong enough Whoes heart can withstand How much can another bear How many times can you cry At what point is the threshold At what place do you draw the line ? All these questions stop us from reaching out We are such helpless creatures Like stubborn sheep whoes legs get stuck in between rocks Yet we remain silent instead of calling out for help And so our untimely death creeps around the corner Yet we remain clueless about the wolf around the corner And so our end will be reach us sooner. We believe that we must fight alone We push away the helping hand While distancing ourselves away from the shepherd Hoping that we won't be found Ashamed of being lost We hide from what could save us And we draw near to our demise Too prideful to admit our mistakes Too arrogant to grab the hand If only we could open our eyes and see The trap we are in only exists within our minds. And our shepherd is not one to be disappointed by our weakness And neither does he jude us for getting lost He is there to show us the way And come find us when we are lost. *efx*

There is joy in finding things you thought you had lost forever.
