Since the discussions regarding the migration of both StaFi Chain/StaFi Hub and the $FIS rebranding initiated, the process is steadily advancing.
StaFi Hub, built on #Cosmos SDK, is an application-specific blockchain designed to provide Liquid #Staking for the Cosmos ECO and currently supports $ATOM $IRIS and $HUAHUA.
Its migration is a crucial component for StaFi transition from app chain model to contract model.
✅rToken Migration
The migration of rTokens from StaFi Hub will be directed to a CosmWasm-compatible chain, with @Neutron_org being the primary candidate.
$rATOM migration testing on the #Neutron is completed, the feasibility studies for $rHUAHUA $rSWTH and $rIRIS are underway.
✅Decrease $FIS Inflation
With the 6-months-lasting migration of StaFi Hub completed, the $FIS previously allocated for StaFi Hub validator incentives will instead be redirected to the burning process on #StaFi Chain, contributing to the $FIS deflationary mechanism.
✅More Adoption
With the migration, any Cosmos chain supporting CosmWasm can host LST functionality directly.
This allows users to engage in DeFi activities without assets transfer and it streamlines the user experience and helps individual chains maintain stronger liquidity.

We are proposing to burn 100% of the $FIS tokens that continuously flow into the treasury address.
This action is intended to reduce $FIS inflation from 10% to around 6%, transitioning the token towards a deflationary model.

Circulating $FIS supply is currently 145.829 million. From the 10% inflation rate, 6.2% of inflated FIS goes to stakers and validators, while 3.8% is allocated to the address trsry in the treasury.

We propose burning 100% of inflated FIS every 30 days that flow into the treasury address. This will result in:

2️⃣A decrease in $FIS inflation from 10% to approximately 6%.
