WED MAY 08 2024 YOU’RE THE TABERNACLE OF HIS PRESENCE What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19). In the Old Testament, the children of Israel transported the presence of God from place to place every time they carried the Tabernacle of Witness, which contained the Ark of the Covenant. In 1 Kings 8:9, the Bible tells us specifically that, “There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.” The only thing in the ark was God’s commandments. Today, your heart is the ark of God; that’s where the Word is. Remember what the Lord said in Jeremiah 31:33: “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.” This was fulfilled in us when we were born again. We were born again by the Word of God and have become one with the Word; we’re living epistles, “... written, not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone but in fleshy tables of the heart” (2 Corinthians 3:3). Blessed be God! You’re now the living ark of testimony and the tabernacle of His presence, “…for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people” (2 Corinthians 6:16). He dwells in you now. His hands are in your hands, and His legs are in your legs. He walks in you and talks through you.  Where you go, God goes. You’re in Him and He’s in you! Not only are you now in the presence of God, you carry the presence of God. Every time you show up, you come with the presence of God. No wonder the Bible says in Colossians 1:27, “...Christ in you, the hope of glory!” PRAYER / CONFESSION My life is for the glory of God, because the Holy Spirit lives in and operates from the quarters of my heart. Therefore, Satan and anything associated with darkness have no place in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. TUE MAY 07 2024 HE SIDES WITH US IN PRAYER Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26). The word translated “helpeth” in our opening verse is a complex Greek word: “sunantilambanomai.” It means “to strive to obtain together with” or “to take hold together with, against.” This expression gives us God’s picture of intercession; in fact, it’s the best explanation of how God expects us to carry out the ministry of intercession. This means that in intercession, God takes hold together with us against the adversary. If, for example, I take hold together with you against someone else, it means I'm on the same side with you.  So, when Paul says “the spirit also helpeth our infirmities,” it means the Holy Spirit joins together with us in prayer against the adversary for those who are unable to help themselves. “Infirmities” is from another Greek word “Astheneia”, which refers to some form of limitation or weakness; when there’s a want of requisite capacity. Imagine someone who has been sick for a long time and is probably dying. He’s so weak that he no longer can appropriate the blessings of Christ on healing and health for himself. Who’s holding him back? Satan. It’s God who wants to heal him. So, the Holy Spirit joins together with us to pray for that one. We take the place of that person in prayer and then rebuke the adversary. This means the Holy Spirit is an intercessor and He carries out that ministry through us. It also means that He’s not the one holding back or causing the problem; He’s not the one we’re trying to persuade. He’s helping us.  Maybe you’ve been praying for years for someone to receive salvation. There’s no need trying to convince Him to save that person. The Holy Spirit sides with you in prayer against the adversary responsible for blinding the mind of that person from receiving the knowledge of God. Take advantage of this awesome blessing and ministry of the Holy Spirit today. PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, thank you for the extraordinary ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life as He sides with me in prayer against the adversary. Even now, as I pray, He takes over my vocal cords and gets me in sync with your will, helping me to pray aright, and causing circumstances to align with your perfect will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. MON MAY 06 2024 GROWING BY THE WORD As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2).  In Christ we already have everything. 2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” His divine power has given us everything we require for life and godliness, but you can only enjoy them through your knowledge of Him.  As we grow in the Lord and become more aware of His Kingdom which we're a part of, we learn to apply more of all that He’s granted us. It’s very much like raising kids; though they're heirs of whatever their parents own, they can’t enjoy some of those things until they attain a certain age or level of maturity. That's the way it is in the Gospel.  The Bible says in Galatians 4:1, “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all.” An heir is someone who is legally entitled to an inheritance, rank, or title. He may be an heir to a throne or an heir to some wealth; but as long as that heir is still a child, he’s not different from a servant. Why is this important? The word “child” is translated from the Greek word “Nepios,” and it refers to one who’s a child mentally and still unable to communicate or talk intelligently. Thus, a Christian who’s still a child (nepios), though all the blessings and wealth in Christ belong to him, he can’t enjoy them because he’s unable to “talk right.” The blessings are activated by your words—your confessions—which must be based on God’s Word and not on sensory perceptions. But the “nepios” talks according to his senses. From his words, one can tell he’s not trained. That’s why the Bible says he’s placed under tutors and governors, to be trained until he grows to maturity (Galatians 4:2).  It’s one of the reasons everyone of us must grow by the Word. And one of the ways to ensure this is your active membership in your local church where the Word of God is taught and you’re trained with the Word to help you grow and talk right. PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for all you’ve made available to me in Christ and for giving me your Word to live by. As I yield myself to the tutelage of your Word, more grace is released to me and I experience supernatural progress, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FRI APR 26 2024 PERFECT WITHOUT DEFECTS And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this PERFECT SOUNDNESS in the presence of you all (Acts 3:16).  I want you to notice the expression “perfect soundness” in our opening verse. It’s rendered from the Greek word “holokleria”, which means a perfect state of health; a condition of health with no problems whatsoever. This is God’s desire for you, and it’s one of the many blessings of living in and by the Name of Jesus. James 1:4 expresses a similar thought; it talks about being "perfect and entire, wanting nothing." The term translated "entire" is “holokleros,” the verb form of “holokleria.” It implies being perfectly sound, complete without blemish. What a life! Then, to make this happen, God gave us the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of life, to keep us perfectly sound. Romans 8:11 says, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Hallelujah! In the previous verse 10, it says, “But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness” (Romans 8:10 NIV). Christ in you, the Holy Spirit in you, guarantees you perfect soundness of spirit, soul and body. It brings to mind Peter’s encounter with Aeneas who had been crippled for 8 years. All Peter said to him was, “…Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately” (Acts 9:34). Aeneas was restored to a perfect state of health because Peter understood the transcendent power of the Name of Jesus and Christ living in us. As a Christian, Christ lives in you, and you live in Him. Your faith in His Name and consciousness of His indwelling presence will keep you in perfect soundness. Glory to God! PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for making me perfect and entire, wanting nothing. I’m righteous, holy, unblameable and unreprovable in your sight, to the glory and praise of your Name. Amen. SAT APR 20 2024 HE DELIGHTS IN YOUR PROSPERITY If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? (Luke 16:11). There are Christians who make snide remarks when they hear the teachings on prosperity in Christ. Sometimes, they accuse preachers of focusing too much on money and the prosperity message. Ironically, the same individuals work tirelessly all day and all week for money. Some of them even resort to dishonest means to obtain it and often feel distressed when they lack it. There’s no better place to learn about financial prosperity than God’s Word. The Lord delights in your prosperity. The Bible says in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” It brings to mind the words of David in Psalm 35:27; he said, “…Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” The Lord has pleasure in your prosperity. That should let you know that poverty, lack and want aren’t the will of God for you. 2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMPC) says, “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].” His will is for you to be in surplus, ever-prospering. Hallelujah! Read Psalm 1:1-3 (TPT); it says, “What delight comes to the one who follows God’s ways….He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life. He is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous.” In Christ, you’re self-sufficient; you have whatever you require in abundance. Praise God! PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, thank you for your grace at work in me for a life of superabundance, where I require no aid or support but furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. Thank you for delighting in my prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. THU APR 18 2024 ESTABLISHED IN THE TRUTH I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4). The Greek word translated “knowledge” in the scripture above is “epignosis.” It means full, exact or precise knowledge. God wants all men to be saved and to come to the full, exact or precise knowledge of the truth. If this weren’t possible, He wouldn’t have said so. This is His desire.  It’s also the reason He set ministers and ministries in place as gifts to the Church: “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-13). God wants you built up and established in the Word until you come to such a high level of faith and knowledge of the Son of God—mature and fully grown in the Lord. As you develop in Christ and in the things of the Spirit, and as you increase in the revelation knowledge of the Word, you’re able to tame circumstances and live above the elements of this world. When you have precise knowledge of the truth—the truth about Christ and what He’s done for you and in you—your life will be an endless stream of peace, joy and victories. Get to know the truth. For example, Psalm 87:3 says, “Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God.” Then in Psalm 50:2, the Bible says, “Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.” Hallelujah! God shines through you, not cancer, diabetes, kidney failure, poverty or any of the negativities of this world. You’re the perfection of beauty. When you stand in front of the mirror, look at yourself and say, “I know who I am; greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. My life is for the glory of God because Christ lives in me.” Be established in these truths. Hallelujah! PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, I thank you for granting me absolute and exact knowledge of your Word, far removed from assumptions, doubts and uncertainties. I function by the Spirit of wisdom and knowledge in all my endeavours, fruitful in every good work. Christ is the glory of my life and by His grace, I reign triumphantly every day, in Jesus’ Name. TUE APR 09 2024 CHRIST IS THE ROCK And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18). The Lord Jesus made the remarkable statement in our theme scripture above in response to Peter’s amazing revelatory insight about the Master’s identity as the Christ, the Son of the living God. Many have misconstrued what the Master meant when He said, “Upon this rock I will build my Church.” Some have speculated that Jesus was referring to Peter's revelation about Jesus being the Christ, but no! He wasn’t referring to Peter’s revelation. The Master was succinct in His communication; He didn’t say, “Peter, upon the revelation that I’m the Christ will I build my Church.” Rather, what He said in essence was, “I will build my Church on Christ.” Christ is the Rock. To further clarify this, it’s important to follow and understand certain prophetic nuances in the Bible. For example, in Matthew 22:41-46, Jesus asked the Pharisees about their understanding of the Messiah, and they replied that Christ was the Son of David. Then He asked them if the Messiah was the son of David, how come David addressed Him as Lord? And then He quoted what David said in Psalm 110:1, "The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." When you read several other portions of the Scriptures, you’ll observe where David referred to the Lord as “the Rock.” In 2 Samuel 22:1, for example, he spoke to the Lord, expressing gratitude for the deliverance from all his enemies, including Saul. He declared, “…The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer...” (2 Samuel 22:2). Then in Psalm 18:2, he said, "The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength…." In the 46th verse, he continues, "The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted" (Psalm 18:46 NKJV). In essence, Christ is the foundation of the Church; He is the Rock. 1 Corinthians 10:4 states clearly, “…and that rock was Christ.” The Church is not built on Peter’s revelation; it stands unshakeable on the Rock—Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation that the Church is built on Christ, the solid Rock. I stand firm on this foundation, anchored in Christ's unchanging, unmovable, unshakeable, resolute, firm, constant and unwavering truth. The Church is marching on, making progress, establishing your will in the earth, and in the hearts of men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. WED APR 03 2024 LIVE UNTO HIM For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's (Romans 14:8). In life, many grapple with discontentment, burdened by various concerns and life's challenges. Often, their dissatisfaction stems from not having learnt the value and fulfilment of living unto Christ. Living unto Him means finding contentment and fulfilment in what pleases Him, and your displeasure is confined to that which also displeases Him. In other words, your displeasure can only be a reflection of His displeasure, which means you’ll take nothing personally; you become impervious to personal offences. If you claim to be living unto the Lord, but still harbour hurt, offence, or anger, it raises the question of whether your desire to please the Lord is genuine. It brings to mind the story in 1 Samuel 8:4-7; the elders of Israel approached the prophet Samuel at Ramah, expressing their desire for a king to rule over them like other nations. Samuel, displeased by their request, prayed to the Lord. God responded, instructing Samuel to heed the people's voice, clarifying that their request was a rejection of Him as their King rather than a rejection of Samuel. The prophet Samuel felt personally offended, but God corrected and taught him a great lesson about being impervious to hurts, as it was about Him, not Samuel. Living for the Lord involves transcending personal feelings and aligning yourself with His divine will. PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, I choose to live unto you and please you at all times, full of love towards others. I align my desires with your divine will, and my joy and satisfaction come from pleasing you, living for you, and fulfilling my purpose in Christ. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS MONDAY APRIL 01 2024 A MESSAGE FOR THE WHOLE WORLD For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:14-15). Did you know that God isn’t counting the sins of men against them? He isn’t because Jesus already died for everybody. “I thought He died for Christians”; someone might ask. No; it was for the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:19 NIV says, “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” Observe that it says God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. Why? It’s because Jesus paid for everybody. When Jesus died, every one of us died in Him; in the mind of justice, we were in Him in His death. When God raised Him up, the whole world was given the opportunity to receive eternal life—the life of righteousness. That’s the reason our message is His Gospel to the whole world. Our mission is to tell the whole world that Jesus paid for their salvation; therefore they don’t have to die or be judged anymore. Jesus was judged for the whole world. For everyone in the world today who hasn’t been born again, eternal life is available now. All they have to do is believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead in His substitutionary act of salvation, confess the Lordship of Jesus over their lives, and they’ll be brought into the vital realization, experience and union with the living Christ. Hallelujah! PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, thank you for sending Jesus to die for the whole world, thereby making it possible for everyone who believes in His substitutionary work, and confesses His Lordship, to receive eternal life. Thank you for eternal life in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. SUN MAR 24 2024 THE UNVEILER OF DIVINE MYSTERIES That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him (Ephesians 1:17). Our theme verse is a profound prayer of the Spirit that highlights the indispensable role of the Holy Spirit in unveiling the mysteries of God to us. He’s the unveiler of divine mysteries and secrets. Only through Him can we truly know God and know things pertaining to the Kingdom. 1 Corinthians 2:11-12 provides some more clarity into this. There, the Bible says, “…the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”  How does the Holy Spirit enable you to know the things of the Kingdom of God? It is by introducing them to your spirit. Your brain or mind can’t comprehend them. But the Holy Spirit, in fellowship and contact with your spirit, grants you wisdom for revelation to know God and the secrets of the Kingdom.  Moreover, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth who guides you into all truth: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13). Earlier in John 14:26, the Lord Jesus, speaking of the same Holy Spirit said, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of knowledge; He’s the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge. With Him, you can never walk in darkness or be confused about anything in life. Remember, He made all things. If you’d recognise and take advantage of His ministry in your life, you’ll be an oasis of knowledge and a fountain of solutions in a dark, needy, and ignorant world. PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, I’m grateful for the privilege of fellowship with the Holy Spirit who continually unveils the mysteries of the Kingdom to me. My path is illuminated to know and walk in my heritage in Christ, enjoying unending success, victories, fruitfulness, productivity, beauty and joy in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. SAT MAR 23 2024 REMISSION OF SINS And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem (Luke 24:46-47).  In Christ, we have remission of our sins. His substitutionary work in our behalf made us new creations. Our past and our sins were completely blotted out, entirely erased from God's memory, not just your own. So literally, what Jesus did was to take away the power of sin to prevent its destructive consequences. For that reason the Bible says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you...” (Romans 6:14). Jesus accomplished this for us.  Acts 13:38-39 says, “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses." The term "forgiveness" is derived from the Greek word 'aphesis,' which specifically means remission of sins. Furthermore, those who believe in Him are not only granted remission but are also justified from all things, a status unattainable through the Law of Moses. Justification implies being acquitted, to be declared not guilty. Many Christians haven’t fully grasped the depth of this truth. While Jesus indeed paid for the sins of the whole world, when you believe in Him, you receive a new life, you become “a new creature” (2 Corinthians 5:17), a new person in the presence of God. In God's presence, you’re brand new! This is what justification truly means; you stand acquitted, not merely paid for. Through your belief in the payment, He gave you eternal life, and you were born anew, with a new life without a past. You’re now a new creature; this serves as the basis for your acquittal. The Bible says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). In the presence of God, He sees you in Jesus Christ. He doesn’t see the multitude of sins you’ve committed; instead, He sees you as pure as Jesus. PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, I thank you for making Jesus who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ. I pray for sinners around the world today, that as they hear the Gospel, their hearts be open to receive the remission of sins already accomplished for them through the death of Christ, to live unto righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. HE REACHES THE WORLD OF MEN THROUGH MEN So he, trembling and astonished, said,  ''Lord, what do You want me to do?"  Then the Lord said to him, "Arise and go  into the city, and you will be told what  you must do" (Acts 9:6 NKJV). The Bible tells us the story of Peter and Cornelius in Acts 10. Cornelius, a Roman centurion, was a devout and God-fearing man who regularly gave alms to the poor, yet he wasn’t saved. In a vision, an angel appeared to him, instructing him to send for Peter who shall tell him words, whereby he and all his household shall be saved. Someone might ask, “Why didn't the angel directly instruct Cornelius on what he needed to do for salvation? Why the elaborate process of summoning and persuading Peter?” It’s because God sent men to bear His message of salvation, not angels. His policy is to use men to save men. This principle is exemplified in the fact that God Himself became a man to bring salvation to us. That’s why He still needed to use the Apostle Peter to lead Cornelius and his household to salvation. His Gospel is committed to men and to be preached by men. And by men, we mean men and women alike. In 1 Timothy 1:11, Paul said, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.” The Gospel has been committed to your trust, not to the trust of angels. So, take advantage of His mandate and be the light in your world and to the nations. Enlighten and illuminate the hearts of men and women with the saving truth and transforming realities of the Gospel. It’s a noble responsibility for us to carry the message of salvation to the farthest corners of the earth. So rejoice in this privilege and let it become the focal point of your life's purpose. You’ve been granted the opportunity to serve in the Gospel, to proclaim His righteousness and to establish His Kingdom on earth and in the hearts of people. Nothing could be more gratifying! PRAYER / CONFESSION I’m the light of the world and the bearer of Christ’s glorious Gospel that leads men into salvation. SUN MAR 10 2024 IT’S ALL IN YOUR SPIRIT A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh (Luke 6:45). Your heart, which is the recreated human spirit is God's temple: His dwelling place. That’s where the Kingdom of God is (Luke 17:20-21). And it’s through your spirit that you make contact with God, for God is a Spirit. It’s the reason you must educate your spirit and guard it with all diligence: “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).  Everything you require for your life is in your heart; therefore, learn to live from your heart. When you live from your heart, you won't be bothered about the happenings outside; your experiences won't determine your response to situations. You’ll live above inflation and economic crisis because you’ve learnt how to enjoy your prosperity and turn it on from within you. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart….” God has set everything, including the world in your heart. This shouldn’t be difficult for you to relate with because God is bigger than the world, and yet, He lives in your heart. Glory to God! Therefore, as a child of God, see and live from your heart. What you see with your heart is more real than what you see with your physical eyes. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." Seeing with your heart means envisioning and apprehending the realities of the Gospel and of the Kingdom with your spirit. Hallelujah! It reminds of what Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 12:3, “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.” Where are these wells? They’re in the deep recesses of your heart! The finest and most important things of life—the eternal things—are all in your heart; therefore, live from within.   PRAYER / CONFESSION The life and nature of God are in my spirit; the divine transformation and glory evident in my soul and body are the result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. I’m set on high; established in glory, righteousness, prosperity and peace because I live from within. Hallelujah! SAT MAR 02 2024 HE GAVE US EVERYTHING When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory (Colossians 3:4).  In John 5:26, Jesus said, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself,” meaning that Jesus had the inherent life: the very divine nature. He said, “I want you to know and believe that the Father is in me and I in Him” (John 10:38). This is simply extraordinary.  This is the very thing that God wants for us; this was His purpose for creating man, so that He’d be in man and man would be in Him, so you’d become a super being—the facsimile or reflection of God. Hallelujah! When you receive Christ and are joined to Him, you become one with Him. The Bible says, “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17). This oneness with Christ makes you supernatural because His divine life supplanted the human life with which you were born of your biological parents. Now that you’re born again, what you have is the Christ-life. Hence our theme verse says Christ is your life. Then 1 John 5:11-12 (NIV) says, “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” Blessed be God! What the Apostle John is referring to in the verses above is eternal life. Anyone who has Jesus, the Son of God, has eternal life. But then, in giving you eternal life, He actually gave you Himself because He is Himself eternal life: “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life” (1 John 5:20). Hallelujah! This is the Gospel! Jesus gave us EVERYTHING that He is! He gave us His Name, He gave us His righteousness, and He gave us His life. The Bible says we’re joint-heirs with Him (Romans 8:17); as He is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). PRAYER / CONFESSION Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me EVERYTHING! You gave me your Name, your righteousness, and your life. Now I’m an associate of the God-kind, an heir of God and a joint-heir with you; as you are, so am I in this world. Blessed be God! TUE FEB 27 2024 EVER-INCREASING PROSPERITY Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).  Something is wrong when someone who was once doing very well financially suddenly starts experiencing unimaginable, protracted financial trouble. Until and unless that individual discerns that that isn’t God’s plan for any of His children, he may blame circumstances, the government or other people around him for his predicament.  He might even blame himself for taking certain actions that he shouldn’t have. But the question is: Does he really know the truth? It’s important that you know who you are, who God is, what you have in Him, and who He is to you. God is your source. The Bible says we’re heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. In Christ, your prosperity is stable and ever-increasing. It’s from glory to glory. We don’t go up to come down. It makes no difference the level of inflation and how unstable the world’s economy gets; when you recognize that your true source is the Lord, you’ll be independent of circumstances, unruffled by the state of the world’s economy. The Bible declares what the one who’s blessed of the Lord shall be like: “For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit” (Jeremiah 17:8). This tells you something about the consistency of the prosperity of God’s people, following God’s plans. Part of your new creation heritage is that you’re plugged into an unending supply. Your source never runs dry. Your source isn’t the government, society, job, business, family or anyone else for that matter; it’s the Lord. Look to Him and trust Him for your finances as you act on His principles for financial abundance. PRAYER / CONFESSION The Lord is my Shepherd—to feed, guide and shield me; I lack nothing! He makes me lie down in fresh, tender green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Therefore, I walk in ever-increasing prosperity, possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. Glory to God! SAT FEB 24 2024 A WITNESS TO YOUR GENERATION And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him (Acts 5:32). Did you know that God expects your friends and colleagues, co-workers, business associates, schoolmates, family members, co-tenants and all those He ever connects you with who aren’t yet born again will get to hear the Gospel through you for their salvation? They’re all hanging on to the trust committed to you by God. He holds you responsible as their witness. You’re the witness to your generation. Therefore, be committed to bringing salvation to those in your world. That’s where your fulfilment in life lies. You become a fruit-producing branch, fulfilling what Jesus said in John 15:5, “I am the vine; ye are the branches.” You’re a fruit-bearing branch, bearing fruits of righteousness and manifesting works of righteousness. You carry the seeds of the Kingdom of God inside you. That’s your number one ministry in life. Remember the words of Jesus: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). Make the expansion of His Kingdom in the earth your priority, and His glory will be manifested in and through you. You have to come to the realization that the Gospel, the same message that saved your life, has been committed to your trust.  Paul knew it. Hence he declared in 1 Timothy 1:11, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.” Take personal responsibility for the Gospel and you’ll live an absolutely fulfilling and impactful life.   PRAYER / CONFESSION Father, thank you for the blessing of being counted faithful to be a minister of reconciliation. Thank you for your glorious Gospel which has been committed to my trust. I’ll keep preaching it boldly everywhere and to everyone until the whole earth is filled with the knowledge of your glory and your salvation and righteousness rain upon the nations, in Jesus’ Name. THU FEB 22 2024 LIVE THE TRUTH AND LIVE IN TRUTH And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). We were created by God’s Word, and His Word is truth; that means we were created by truth. This is why truth has an eternal effect on your spirit; it has an eternal effect of success, victory, prosperity and health in your life because truth is your source. That’s why falsehood, deceit, deception, lies and lying destroy the human spirit.  Our theme verse says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,” because man was created by God to be free, to be at liberty to serve Him; he can’t be bound because truth is his true nature.  Before you were born again, you didn’t have the ability to live the truth and live in truth because you were under the dominion of sin. But now, the Bible says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you…” (Romans 6:14).  You have the ability to do away with the habit of telling lies. You don’t need to cry or even ask God to take it away from you. Simply make up your mind to put away lying. The Bible says, “If you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies” (1 Peter 3:10 TLB). Proverbs 6:16-19 lists six things that the Lord detests and one of them is “a false witness that speaketh lies.” Truth is in your spirit, and whenever you live in truth, you’re triumphant, and your spirit glows. It doesn’t matter in what situation you may find yourself, truth will put you over because truth is eternal: “The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment” (Proverbs 12:19). Praise God!   PRAYER / CONFESSION God’s Word guides my thoughts, habits, character, and ultimately builds my life. I have dominion over every kind of sin. I live in truth because truth is my true nature. Therefore, I’m triumphant over every situation, ever glowing in the spirit. Praise God! THU FEB 15 2024 FOLLOW HIS COUNSEL AND YOU’LL ALWAYS WIN Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not (Acts 16:6-7). Paul and his companions decided to go to certain regions to preach the Gospel, but the Holy Spirit prevented them from going at that time. How did they know it was the Holy Spirit who didn’t want them to go? They were so acquainted and yielded to Him that they could recognize His voice. As a result, the Spirit led and instructed them to go to Macedonia instead, to preach (Acts 16:8-9). Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit has a voice, and He speaks to you from the Word. Whenever He speaks, He speaks wisdom, for the Word of God is the Wisdom of God! That’s why it’s so important for you to learn and know God’s Word. He never says anything outside the Word. Whatever He tells you is always in sync with the written Word and consistent with God’s will for your life.  John 16:13 says, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” If you’re acquainted with the Word, you’ll know whenever the Holy Spirit talks to you, for He bears witness to the Scriptures.  When He tells you to do anything, don’t question it. You can’t follow His leading and lose. He’ll lead and guide you from success to success, and from glory to glory. PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, I thank you for the Holy Spirit who has come to live in me, and guides me in the path of your perfect will. My life is an unending stream of the miraculous because I’m totally yielded to His guidance and promptings from within, in the Name of Jesus. Amen. WED FEB 14 2024 YIELD TO THE SPIRIT AND THE WORD All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Many people desire the leading of the Holy Spirit in their lives but don’t know how to yield themselves to Him. Do we yield ourselves by bowing our heads and kneeling before Him? You may bow to Him physically in reverence, but this won’t give the guidance and leading you desire.  In yielding to the Holy Spirit, you must submit to His Word. You give yourself to what He tells you to do and let the Word of God live through you. The Holy Spirit is the author of the Scriptures, and the primary way He leads is through the Word.  God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6). He however recommends that you “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).  As you study the Word, the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life will increase, for you’ll be able to recognize His voice. The Word of God and the Spirit of God bear witness to Jesus as the Living Word. He said, “Search the scriptures…they are they which testify of me" (John 5:39).  He also said, “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me” (John 15:26). The more you let the Word of God dominate your mind, your decisions and your outlook on life, the more the Holy Spirit controls your life and leads you from victory to victory. Even now, declare that God’s Word has power over your life, to lead you, control you and guide you in all that you do.    PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, I thank you for the inner counsel I receive daily from your Spirit as I study your Word. I open my spirit to be more receptive to your divine guidance always so that I may be fully acquainted with your thoughts, plans and purpose for my life, and walk in them, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
