Question : Is ASO a bad/boring job? Answer : Good or bad is a relative thing. What's good for A may be bad for B. ASO job profile is suitable for people who wish to stay in Delhi and who wish to settle. I've already mentioned about it few days back. If you want exciting work, it can't offer you. If you want a stable life near home, it is a safe option. So you decide, what you want in life. Log ITI lekar bhi CSS me aye hen aur log CSS se ITI me bhi gye hen.. so aapko kya chahiye ye apke nature aur way of living pr depend krna chahiye..

Sharing some experience after completing two months in present job (ASO in MHA) 1. Do your work sincerely because you should. You have worked hard to get job, so give equal efforts in it. 2. Working hard doesn't mean doing over-time. It means doing things efficiently with a cool mind. 3. Most of the time, what you do seems so insignificant that you'll feel what am I doing here but the fact is that the combined work of all officials like you is what's needed to run the system. 4. Be humble to others. Senior, junior whoever you meet. Maintain your dignity and do what is right. Do not take anything to heart what is said in office. Leave office in office. 5. Your respect is not decided by your designation. If you are capable, your seniors will identify it even if you are JSA or MTS. 6. Do work or not, salary will be same. In the end, it's about integrity. Work not because you are forced to but because you are paid for it by govt. 7. Everyone is in office for rozi-roti, so you should respect whatever you do. Remember, there are lakhs of people studying everyday just to become what you are. 8. Identify nice people in office and be close to them. 9. Be chill. Ignore trash talk, just focus on getting work done. Speak only when it's necessary. Words lose value if spoken without purpose. 10. Be wise. If you don't feel happy in a job, change it. If you feel you'll better somewhere else, go for it. Wherever you go, work honestly. 11. Do what you like in free time. Don't become a typical Sarkari karamchari 😂 12. Never show off your govt job anywhere. People who do not have it are also doing good in life. You are no celebrity. 13. After a certain stage, promotions become really important. So choose a job based on that. Promotions don't mean less work. It just means, you now hold some power to make decisions.

Go INDIA 🇮🇳🇮🇳

Please do not fill all jobs if you are already working 🤝 Only opt for jobs of higher gradepay. If you are already in homestate with decent salary, there is no point filling all the posts. Only opt for what is better than your present job.

6. 2800 gp posts A) CAG : Don't take them lightly, if you have lesser marks. As per what I've heard, people in CAG Auditor/accountant, manage to get free time for preparing for future exams/upsc. Overall auditor are less on tours. Still sometimes you'll going along with senior officials. A decent job with work life balance. Mostly, you'll be going deskwork. Allotment of state done as per rank. B) CGA accountant : similar to previous but allotment is done by making a roaster in random format for ministry allocation. So even with good rank, you might get not so good ministry. After ministry you are alloted the state. Generally most ministries are in Delhi but if you are unlucky, you might get outside. So be careful while choosing it.

5. AAO (Assistant audit officer) See it's a good job for those who want good salary and some power. When you'll go on audit, people there will treat you with respect, because everything depends on your signature. You'll stay in nice hotels. Most of the time you'll be on such tours. You'll feel the power. Also, many candidates were given delhi from CGL 22 from AAO, I don't remember the number. So yes, risk lena h to isse le lena.. but cag doens't disclose the vacancies of statewise. So you'll be in suspense till end. Avoid taking it in South as you'll face language issues in office too.

4. A) SI in NIA 🔥 : A job meant for those who truly want to serve country by removing terrorism. As an SI in NIA, you'll always face workload, frequent tours and travels. You'll work extremely secretly. Training is in Delhi. After training, you'll be posted anywhere in country, most probably in HQ(delhi). You cannot discuss your work at all anywhere. You'll have to work long hours but you'll have a feeling of serving the nation. Family man web series is based on that. Promotional aspects are good but so is workload. B) executive Assistant Decent post. One level below excise inspector. Mainly administrative work and along with you'll be doing work equivalent to an inspector. If you can get it in hometown, you can try for it with slightly less marks.

3. A) ITI : One of the employee friendly departments. Good place to be. Things are organised well at present. Seasonal workload. Search operations are few but whenever you'll go in them, you'll know your value. You'll be coordinating with local authorities too in them. As an ITI, you'll be doing paperwork as well. But haven't heard from anyone, complaining of workload. You'll be trained well. Overall a very decent job. Social respect is massive. B) AEO in ED : do not join. A place where even seniors are working till 8-9 pm. You'll be burned out. In start you'll be excited, but the work will be tedious. Power is there but so is responsibility. Work life balance won't exist. They'll give joining extremely fast but if you can work long and want to serve the nation, you should join. (C) SI in CBI : workload workload workload. Paperwork paperwork paperwork. You'll get immense social respect. If you can work long hours on a regular basis, you can join. Being here, you'll get to feel the power. Training is the best part (gaziabad near Delhi).

2. Inspectors in CBIC A) excise inspector : one of the best jobs of ssc cgl, given that you are adventure loving person. If you can get it closer to home, you should opt for it. It's not boring. Training will be fun. Uniform is uniform. Yes there will be desk work as well as field work. But it won't be hectic. A perfect balance of social respect, power, free time. Only issue is that whichever zone you'll get, you'll permanent there. So if you are 1200 km from home, you will be 1200 km till eternity. So opt accordingly. B) examiner & preventive officer : don't have much idea. But your posting location will be on ports. So it is fun but you might have to stay away from home. Overall it's an important job since it's your duty to prevent smuggling of goods through these ships. Corruption scope is there or not, I don't know. And if you are joining this, you should also not think about it.

1. ASO : consider only if you are form delhi or within 500 km from Delhi. This job has nothing special to offer to you. You'll always feel that you are more capable than this work. In brief, aso = high salaried clerk. If you are a normal person who just want to sit and do work without applying any brain or logic.. take aso.. work is totally simple. Overall a good job for those who want stability and hometown. For Promotions, now Ldce exam has re-started.. so you can become SO in 5 years by giving exam. Seniority based promotions are poor, don't expect in even 8-10 years. Being an ASO, you'll get to know whole working of a ministry but you won't be holding any major power. You'll be doing what is directed by SO or senior officials. a) CSS : workload is there. And there is a reason for this.. in css they give you a basic training initially, so after that you are expected to perform. Perks based on ministry you get. Workload doens't depend on ministry. It depends on section alloted to you, which is random. If you are smart while allotment of section, you can have a chiller life. Famous post, not so good according to me. No fame, no special power. B) railway : same as css, just that perks here are rail passes and single ministry lifetime. C) MEA : toppers choice. You'll be interacting with some highly qualified people there. Work profile will be same as any other aso but your social respect will be more because of mea tag. D) ASO in AFHQ : 2 very good pros : canteen card and fixed 5:30 pm exit. No mobile phone in office and presence of defence personnel who might not be friendly and casual. But yes, you'll be respected in society bcz of army tag. Though it is advised not to share any official information outside. E) ASO in IB : different from all there ASOs. Transferrable job. Most probably, you won't be doing any secret work and you'll still have a social life but here there is no guarantee that you'll get posted in delhi. But in whichever state you are you will be in capital city. Your work would still be like any other aso. Here you'll get extra 9k as security allowance, which makes in-hand salary 82k.

Time thoda km he to instead of gathering job review from working people, I'll be posting here whatever I know regarding various jobs in brief which will help you decide. And please remember one thing. Always choose job based on your nature.. introvert, extrovert, stability, wanderlust, power, chill life... Ye sbhi factors hote hen hote hn different jobs m different different.. koi bhi job nhi jisme sb kuch mil jay apko.. kuch pros honge kuch cons honge.. so I'll post one by one starting with 4600 gradepay..
