The body has communicated with the students through email; some of the candidates who received mail have their exam scheduled for January 17, 2024. This is to bring to your kind notice that various discrepancies have been found in the final answer key of the Tier-II of SSC-CGLE 2023 examination released by the SSC on 16th December 2023. The same are listed below. 1. Question ID: 264330172912- This particular question has been asked by the commission in SSC MTS Tier 1 examination on 8th September 2023 Shift 1 and the Commission has changed its own answer to the same question. The answer to the question is Personal Income as per various govt. textbooks as well as SSC PYQ. 2.  Question ID: 264330164754 and Question ID : 264330162641- Both the questions are based upon the same rule (which says that certain words cannot be qualified by comparative/superlative degrees) which the commission did recognize initially in the tentative answer key but has made erroneous changes in the final answer key. 3. Question ID: 264330164417- The phrase Access Denied does not qualify to be considered as a pure sentence due to its structure, so there can be no active or passive voice for the same. The answer selected by the commission in the final answer key would have been considered correct only if the sentence had been in assertive tone (i.e. Deny the Access). But that was not the case, even after numerous representations, the commission has failed to recognized this error in the final answer key. 4. Question ID: 264330172352- High school mathematics students are taught and they know that probability of a solo event (A) can never be greater than the Probability of union of two events including (A). Hence, it was evident that the question was incorrect, but despite large amount of representations, the commission failed to recognize and rectify this mistake as well. 5. Question ID: 264330173697- By no possible means it is possible to find out the direction of D using the 2 statements given in the question. The commission in the tentative answer key made no mistake to announce the correct answer but the final answer key again witnessed an unreasonable change in the answer to this particular question. If this isn’t the case, then then SSC must provide us with a solution of the particular question. 6. Question ID: 264330171997- It is clearly mentioned that we had to use each of the 4 letters only once, in that case out of all possible combinations, only 1 was found in the dictionary which was considered correct by the commission in the tentative answer key, but the final answer has witnessed an unreasonable change by the commission. If this isn’t the case, then then SSC must provide us with a solution of the particular question. It is requested to the commission to kindly look into the mentioned questions and do the needful to maintain the stature of the competitive exam.
