📣 Release v1.0.112 is live Hello Nodes team, The latest release brings a lot of new improvements and fixes. 👉 Action needed before Patch v1.0.111 Hello Nodes team, A new patch is coming today with exciting new things. Before that, let's address the final step of sunsetting the initialNodesSk.pem name in favor of the new validatorKey.pem file name. ⚠️ Back up your keys to a safe location outside of server where the node is running. 👉 Make sure the ~/VALIDATOR_KEYS folder contains the .zip of your current validatorKey.pem file. If not 👇 👉 Please do: run the following commands for each of your nodes. Make sure to replace "node-0" with "node-1" etc where needed.

zip node-0.zip validatorKey.pem
mv node-0.zip ~/VALIDATOR_KEYS/

ℹ️ Info: initialBalancesSk.pem is officially not needed anymore. The Keygenerator now only creates a validatorKey.pem file. You can still use your old initialBalancesSk.pem to access wallets. But consider getting a password protected .json file from our wallet, instead, which also has an erd1... address. 📣 Release v1.0.110 is live Hello Nodes team, We have a new patch with some important improvements, such as less CPU load due to not re-checking signatures for valid transactions & optimized trie synching via batching. Importantly, the initialNodesSk.pem file is renamed to a more intuitive validatorKey.pem ⚠️ If your node doesn't start, please check if you have the validatorKey.pem file in the config folder of your node - default at $HOME/elrond-nodes/node-0/config 📋 Full release notes: New: - Skip transaction revalidation in order to save CPU time - Added the metric in node/status rout that specify the current number of shards without metachain - Optimized trie nodes synchronization by requesting a batch of hash nodes instead of requesting one by one - Changed the validator key filename from initialNodesSk.pem to validatorKey.pem - The node removes the inactive observers from the heartbeat cache in a predefined time (usually 10 minutes) Fixed: - Fixed concurrency issue in trie pruning and trie snapshotting: the trie snapshot and trie pruning for a certain root hash needed to be executed in this order. 📣 Patch v1.0.105 is live Hello Nodes team, This latest patch fixes the bugs discovered after last night's release. If you had issues with your nodes, updating the scripts to the latest version and performing a cleanup is best. @ALwin79 recommends: ❗️If your nodes were NOT running (because of the issues that needed fixing), please do: cd ~/elrond-go-scripts-v2 && ./script.sh upgrade Do you want to remove the current Node DB & Logs for node-x ? yes Your node will probably still be running as a service, so it should come up automatically. 📣 Validator Calculator update & Patch v1.0.102 Hello Nodes team, New patch is out with the latest version of Arwen which now runs as a separate process, the start in epoch components, bugfixes and v1.3 of the scripts. We've worked the newest update of the economics into the Validator Calculator to include a Protocol Fee.
