■■■□□ 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 The UK just gave tech companies 3 months to deploy device-scanning technology on phones and computers sold in the country. Signal calls it "invisible surveillance infrastructure, switched on by default." Whether you call it device scanning or a (backdoor), the result is the same: software built into personal devices that can inspect private content. The same government that requires special approval to spy on politicians wants scanning capabilities embedded into the devices of millions of ordinary people. Once surveillance infrastructure exists, history shows its scope rarely shrinks.

To the readers and those who use our tools: The ckure.org and all sister domains were hosted in India. But due to governments involvement in blocking apps like Telegram, some of the website integrations failed. We have moved all hosting and its ops to locations outside India. We regret to have kept India as the hosting destination. 🎸

🦅 CIA used notorious spyware in Iran during F-15 pilot rescue op – report US intelligence reportedly used Pegasus spyware, developed by the Israeli-founded NSO Group, tied to Israel’s Defense Ministry, to send fake messages to Iranian officials and IRGC operatives during a high-stakes covert mission to locate a downed US F-15 pilot, with officials pointing to the use of advanced and “exquisite” intelligence technologies. The messages claimed the pilot had already been found — part of a broader deception effort. Pegasus, typically used for surveillance and data extraction, can also impersonate users by sending messages from compromised devices. 👍 US-Israel-Iran war | @geopolitics_prime

🇬🇧🇨🇳⚡️ — A hidden camera was discovered in a ceiling panel inside a sensitive government building on Marsham Street in central London that houses the Home Office and the Ministry of Housing, Communities, and Local Government, prompting concerns over possible espionage, according to The i Paper. The incident has drawn particular attention because officials working in the building had been involved in reviewing the planning application for China's proposed new mega-embassy in London. Ministers were informed of the discovery, and security services were notified. The device was found within the past two months in a communal area used by civil servants rather than near ministerial offices. Authorities are investigating who installed the camera and how long it had been in place.
