Q. No. 40. A is π―% correct but C can also be considered as correct as it is implied that when we say cashbook balance in BRS, we mean bank column of cashbook. So if the starting point is passbook we will add it and if the starting point is cashbook we will subtract it

Q 59. In my opinion, the correct Answer should be B, though both statements are correct but statement B is not the correct explanation of statement A. Both of these are two different sections of Income Tax. However, I acknowledge out here that I am not an expert in Reasoning. This question seems to be more of reasoning than to check the knowledge of Accountancy
