Gold has a correction of -1.50% from prev. day's high as investors took profits , amid growing expectations of a US interest rate cut next week. Traders currently assign an 88% probability to a 25bps reduction at the Fed’s upcoming meeting, reinforced by weak US economic data and dovish comments from several Fed officials.
Currency Update:
Dollar Index remained under-pressure after touching a two week-low on Monday, as expectations for a Federal Reserve interest rate cut increased following dismal manufacturing data.
