Aluminium Update
Russian aluminium accounted for 95% of available LME stocks in July, remaining unchanged despite a small drawdown. Total inventories fell 0.5% to 245,250 tonnes, the lowest since April 2025, indicating tighter availability.

Libya’s NOC warned it may declare force majeure and suspend Zawiya refinery operations if drone attacks continue. Three strikes targeted the complex, including storage facilities, raising supply risks at the 120,000-bpd refinery west of Tripoli.
