Natural Gas Update
Natural gas prices fell as Hurricane Isaias shut in 1.3 bcfd of Gulf production, though overall supply impact was minimal. Prices dropped further due to an above-expectation 85 Bcf inventory injection and reduced LNG export terminal feedgas flows.

Weekly CFTC Position
- Crude Oil: WTI net longs fell by 19,516 contracts to 111,635, while Brent net longs declined by 3,250 to 201,052.
- Gold: Speculative net longs decreased by 9,599 contracts to 114,820.
- Silver: Speculative net longs edged down by 129 contracts to 7,608.
- Copper: Speculative net longs declined by 17,244 contracts to 61,465.
- Natural Gas: Speculative net short positions increased by 30,679 contracts to 111,835.
