Global Market Heatmap Global markets were mixed, with the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 and Russell 2000 gaining 0.12%, 0.33% and 0.20%, while the Nikkei 225 rose 0.56%; the DJIA edged down 0.03% and the VIX remained subdued at 16.95. In energy, WTI and Brent crude rose around 0.3%, while natural gas fell 0.82%. Metals were broadly positive, with gold up 1.29%, silver 1.06%, platinum 0.82%, copper 0.69% and palladium 0.51%. In currencies, the dollar index was steady near 99.7, while the euro, yen and pound weakened marginally. US Treasury yields remained broadly stable, with the 10-year note slightly lower.
