“Digital Detox: How to Unplug and Reconnect with Real-Life Experiences.” When you find you’re not going out much, it’s because you don’t have to, and don’t want to. The best way to get back into the real world and purge your mind of the digital fluid being pumped into your brain on a regular is usually just to take a short trip. Don’t just ‘go for a walk in nature or something’ as most would suggest. This doesn’t work when you’re in too deep. You may also just find that the very act is synthetic and performative. Once you’re hooked, consider a short trip. Travel to a different city for some time, and give yourself IRL adventure goals. ‘I want to be able to do xyz before [insert date]’ Over the years, I’ve found this very helpful. A change of environment can often refresh your mind and allow you to see the world from a fresh new perspective. You get to experience a different reality from the one you’re used to (with your own eyes and not through a screen) and you understand that life is way more interesting than the internet. The next step is to build a social life. A social life opens you up to activities to be done in the real world, outside your home. Drop your phone completely when out on social activities. This comes with increasing difficulty the more important your online presence and activities are (if you earn online). Almost every online earner I know has a debilitating phone addiction. You don’t want to break the addiction as it might affect your ability to be online regularly. But you do want to be able to control it, push yourself in scenarios you’re not usually in IRL, and have times when you absolutely DON’T touch your phone. Consider this my personal recommendation. — – — – — PSA: My audio course ‘Fabric Of Reality’ will be launching beginning October. Inside is a precise dive into the world of dopamine addiction, and the methodologies used for substance use rehabilitation. Keep an eye out for the early bird offer. We’ll be rolling the launch soon 🚀 Talk soon. And stay blessed. — baron YāpĂ©t The World is Your Oyster đŸŠȘ | Seize Control

Machiavellian Maxims PART 4: BRUTE FORCE Subtlety is overrated. It's been overhyped to the extent where it's seen as the only option. The alternative to subtlety is brute force. When do you apply this? You decide. But I'll give you a few examples. You're having dinner with extended family, your wife and kids are there, your parents, your siblings (sisters and brothers), your cousins, etc a lot of people are there. All of a sudden your sister's boyfriend starts subtly insulting your wife (assume that's the worst way he could insult you). He makes subtle hints at her being a slut, and says a lot of trash, what do you do? Do you play his game? Respond like a politician? He wants you to play his game. Two ways you could respond: 1. You keep quiet and wait for him to push it a bit till most of your family members notice, and then beat him up. 2. Beat him up straight off the bat. Alternatively, you could ask him to leave. This isn't the most civilized way of doing things. However, civilization is what made that possible in the first place. Now, I don't advise you to go pick a fight you can't win (that was just an illustration). The point is that some attacks are best met with violent responses, not politics. Some attackers want you to play the subtle political game, but you don't always do that. You don't allow yourself to be predictable. The tricky part is in knowing when to use brute force and when to be subtle. That will always be up to you to decide, but know that it's an option. Most think violence is never an option. But more often than not, it is. Kings act civilized because they have soldiers to go to war for them. War isn’t about subtlety and talking and civilization; it is pure carnage. You’re not a King, you don’t have soldiers to go to war for you. This means you will more often than not have to fight your own wars. You're not tied to playing politics in extreme situations. Always weigh your options and your opponent before choosing how to respond. When you do choose to respond ensure the ensuing assault not only incapacitates them but completely obliterates them. Don't kill them. Just crush their spirit and willingness to come at you. Brute force doesn't always mean physical violence. It could be direct verbal attacks, public humiliation, mass ridicule etc. It's simply not subtle. Note: you want physical assault to be your very last option (going to jail is not a good idea). Brute force is also good for reputation building.

Machiavellian Maxims PART 3: MUTUAL INTEREST A lot of people put themselves in situations where they either come off as desperate or as miserable beggars simply by asking for favors without offering anything in return. For most people who consider themselves worth less than the average person, or not worth much, doing random favors for strangers isn't that big of a deal. And although this isn't to say you shouldn't do favors for people, you need to consider the opportunity cost and possible mental restructuring this might have on you. Don't let yourself get to a point where you feel entitled to receiving favors from anyone, whomsoever. When you approach a person, for whatever reason, you need to ask yourself what it is you bring to the table. If you offer 0, don't stress yourself about it. At best, they help you but consider you a leech and that mental image is hard to get off someone's mind once it's there. At worst, they ignore you and image you as someone who has no regard for their time. But when you approach a person with a proposal with mutual interest, you make yourself more respectable. Even if that person declines your proposal, the mental image they'll have of you would be far better, and the chances of you two doing something in the future increases. This applies to everything. You want to befriend this guy? How would his life get better because of him knowing you? You want to date this person? How would their life be better because of you? If you have no definitive answer to both, then you shouldn't fuss when people have no interest in associating with you. You want to do business with someone? Cool, but why should they want to do business with you? These are all questions you should ask yourself often. And no, being a good person doesn't necessitate others to be good to you. "Because you helped A doesn't mean B should help you." — ER This delusion is a very strong one in a lot of people's minds. That's why you hear things like "bad things happen to good people." No, bad things happen to everyone. You just hate that it happened to you too, because you're entitled and deluded. In summary, never go seeking something without having something to offer it. It's like going to the market to buy foodstuff without currency. Always consider mutual interest rather than self-interest Law 13: Appeal To People's Self Interest, Never To Their Mercy

Mind Lapse: How the unconscious can affect your thinking
Humans operate on two plain: 1 The physical plain 2 The ethereal / idea plain Our strength in the ethereal plain is what makes us stand out from all other animals. However, this also means the mind can play tricks on us. This means you can fall into mind prisons or loops where you’re running around trying to escape your own mind. Addiction is one such loop. It’s a mental loop the mind builds, and then deploys weapons - impulses, dopamine, hormones etc to push the body into action for the maintenance of that loop. The mind can also have difficulty differentiating between reality and an idea. If you stand in a room with only one tiny window, where your view is constrained, your mind gets the same sensation as when you’re in prison. It’s an idea. When you come on the internet, your mind starts to think you’re in real life. Why? As in the one room scenario, the evidence creates the thought. In the real world you can speak and listen. You can show and see. The internet provides all these, except physically. “But since all the ‘evidence’ of real life are there, surely this must be the real thing.” - the unconscious
You may consider this an error in operation, but it’s actually a tool. The mind doesn’t work with facts and measurable reality instinctively. It starts with the search for evidence. When someone does something nice to you, you may think ‘they like me.’ When someone criticizes you, you may think ‘they do not like me.’ You’re using evidence to reach a conclusion regardless of what the facts may be. This is the unconscious approach. The same way your mind uses the evidence of: - Tiny room - One small window - Cut off from seeing the outside world = I DO NOT HAVE FREEDOM. However, the evidence does not prove the reality. In the scenario of the room with a small window, the evidences is in fact NOT evidences. The mind simply created that interpretation and labeled it as evidential to the conclusion it had the strongest bias to. Since you instinctively want freedom, any indication of a lack of it, whether self-imposed or externally enforced creates the the same sensation. In the same way, since you instinctively want to be operating on the real world, the mind uses all evidence that you are to reinforce the use that you ARE operating in the real world. What virtual reality is doing is creating MORE evidences to heighten the sensation and strengthen the bias - basically, all companies building AI and VR are exploiting the part of your mind that tricks you into confusion idea and reality. So the mind creates ‘false evidences’ to reach conclusions it has biases towards. “We suffer more in imagination than in reality.” - Seneca You can easily get lost in your mind.

Machiavellian Maxims PART 2: DISCRETION If knowledge is power, then the more knowledge a person has about you, the more potential power they have over you. Likewise, the less a person knows about you, the less they can maneuver. They would have to fill in knowledge gaps with guesses and extrapolations which are prone to inaccuracies and thus errors in judgment. The question now is: why should you willingly offer knowledge that can be used against you and thus make the work of potential attackers easier for them?! — YOU SHOULDN'T! Some people like to think they don't have enemies, but the fact remains that if you are ever to move up the hierarchy and reach a position of significance, you will make enemies whether you want to or not. It's important to learn discretion early on. People who aren't discrete often find themselves in auto mode where they offer information unprovoked. Sometimes they give away so much information there's practically nothing left to say. Some even enter a phase where they start to manufacture stories to keep it going. This is a symptom of a much bigger problem and one that must be dealt with quickly and swiftly. Types of personal information: All information that concerns you and your activities/decisions is personal. But even in personal information, there are those considered: 1. General knowledge & there's 2. Specific knowledge Things that are General Knowledge are things that can be observed without your input. With this kind of information, accurate conclusion can be reached by the average person without your intervention. Being male or female is general knowledge. Your size, the clothes you're wearing, the kind of haircut, whether you have a wristwatch on or not, are you tall and slender, short and chubby, etc. Casual observation will lead to accurate conclusions in each of these cases. You don't have a lot of control over this type of personal information. Specific information however is not always readily available to an observer. A person can't tell what restaurant you're going to have lunch at unless you tell them. A person can't tell what you had for breakfast and whether or not you even had breakfast. A person can't tell the exact amount in your bank account. This type of personal information can only be obtained accurately with your intervention. Discretion implores you to refrain from revealing specific information unnecessarily. You don't need to tell the person you're with where you'll be in the next hour. You don't need to tell the person you're talking to what you had for breakfast. The less and less information you offer about yourself, the less the chances that such information may be used against you in the future. You don’t have to be obsessively secretive, but you also shouldn’t be an open book. Conversely, you want to obtain as much information as you can about people. So, if a person willingly offers information about themselves you should encourage them to keep doing so. A popular example of how to be discrete in a specific situation would be to give out a pseudonym at locations you're not interested in building a personal relationship with. If a person asks you about something you're not interested in letting them know, you can offer alternative information. This is a way of answering a question without providing the required information. Question: "How is your relationship with Sarah" Answer: "Oh Sarah, she's good. She just got admitted into law school. She's very well. Hey, you wanna grab a drink?" You've not answered the question, but you've offered unnecessary information, which wasn't what was asked, and have immediately changed the topic. A keen observer would catch you doing this, of course, but that shouldn’t be of concern to you. if the person has no business knowing, you are under no obligation to tell them. Keep as much information to yourself as possible while getting people to share as much about them as possible.

Someone hurt someone and that person decided to hurt another and so that made the one who was hurt third to become a certain type of person that does xyz because of the hurt that person ABC caused them fifteen years ago, and so on and so forth. Everything in life is cause-and-effect. But you have to learn to break the cycle. Release your pain in private and find your own authentic voice. This is how you make progress as an entrepreneur. Do not carry your bottled up emotions into the playing field. That will only serve as a hindrance and become a limiting barrier. — baron YāpĂ©t The World is Your Oyster đŸŠȘ | Seize Control

YOUR PSYCHOPATHIC VOICE — ‱ Do you remember the most AUTHENTIC version of you? That version of you with a complete emotional range. The one who didn’t tell you lies. The one without any attachment to external identities. The one with full MENTAL FREEDOM. I’m referring to the you that saw you as A BEING, and not of all your secondary expressions — the ACTORS. The BEING exists in a different mental state from the ACTOR. Most people lose that version pretty quickly as soon as they start to “grow up” Allow me to demonstrate with a few questions: When was the last time you genuinely cried? When was the last time you had a string of thoughts for at least three hours without including a delusion — intentional distortion of reality to suit your sensibilities/feelings? When was the last time you saw yourself as just you?
not AN Officer, not A CEO, not A Student, not A Citizen, not AN Employee, not A / AN Anything
in fact, without even your name because that’s also an external identity attached to you at birth. Yes, there’s no identity. You’re a being. You exist. Everything else is an attachment to this fundamental truth. The first question is the most fundamental because the first thing that gets stifled out of us as soon as we start to grow is crying — the expression of sadness. Humans FEEL pain, and emotional pain compounds as SADNESS. Society conditions you to bury that sadness deep inside. And the result of this is an internal rotting away that slowly turns you into a mechanical mess. A robot with preconditioned responses. You basically lose your authenticity and become predictable. Crying is a way of releasing pain. It’s mental therapy. We are emotional creatures, and so emotions flood us — whether we like it not. These emotions need OUTLETS. And luckily, the body and mind have created a COMPLETE spectrum of emotional EXPRESSIONS as outlets for every type of emotion. Crying is the outlet for sadness. Crying doesn’t mean you have to “WAIL” and scream and shout. In fact crying is a silent ritual. Real pain is SILENT. It says nothing. Tears just drip out. Real pain needs to be released. Performance doesn’t release the emotion. I’m not saying cry publicly for the sale of it. When we cry we feel EMPOWERED. That’s why we mourn. You silently shed tears for the departed and in that same solemness and silence you are empowered to make “MEANING” of whatever is to come. It’s the acceptance of the dismantling of the reality you’ve come to know and get used to in order to open your mind to a new reality. We mourn separation from those we love because we feel pain at the new reality, and that’s okay. You’re human and HAVE emotions. Now, let’s not get lost
We’re talking about the psychopathic voice. Did you answer: 1 year ago? 2 years ago? 3 years ago? or “can’t even remember
” I’m sure most of you would answer that that part of you is dead. Most people think the fact they haven’t cried in a long time is supposed to be some “badge of strength” when in fact it’s the first indicator of internal weakness and fear — the refusal to accept your own vulnerability, even to yourself. When you can’t cry anymore, you’ve successfully been turned into the PERFECT ROBOT. And what do we know about ROBOTS? They are controlled by external noise, not an internal consciousness. They are not sentient. They have no real autonomy. Therefore they are INANIMATE objects with ZERO PERSONAL AGENCY. To keep it short, ROBOTS are not HUMAN. “Growing Up” is a mechanical process. Humans aren’t meant to GROW UP. We’re supposed to EVOLVE into more CONSCIOUS and consequently COMPETENT Beings. “Growing Up” is a mechanical process of inserting external noise into your mental library, in order to distort your PERCEPTION of reality, so you PERFORM and BEHAVE a certain WAY. It’s the POLLUTION of your consciousness. But who would want to alter a PURE BEING? Why would someone tamper with something that’s not broken? It’s a circle of Karma.

Machiavellian Maxims PART 1: PUNISHING OFFENCES Everybody has passed through a situation where a close one did something they shouldn't have, and out of your benevolent and tender heart, you decided to forgive them and let it go. The problem is, you discover that after a while (depending on the gravity of the offense) they either lose regard for you completely or they start committing more similar offenses. We all know the rest of the story; a falling out and permanent damage to the relationship. So, you ask yourself what you did wrong in forgiving. Forgiveness does not negate the need for punishment. Every offense must be punished, regardless of how minute it may be. The punishment can range from temporary withdrawal of your attention to total severance of the relationship (depending on the magnitude of the offense). When the damages a relationship incurs exceeds the benefits, severance is the only option. Picture this: You walk up to your dad/friend/girlfriend and give them a very hard slap. But, instead of getting upset or retaliating, they simply say to you: “I forgive you for this. Don’t do it again." You won’t feel relief or joy at them forgiving you, but rather disgust at their lack of self-regard. You will also become more likely to repeat that offense in the future. If you slapped your dad and he said that to you, you will lose all respect for him till your dying day. Now, put yourself in the position of the person being slapped. The way you’d lose respect/regard for the non-retaliatory victim is how people lose respect for you each time you fail to properly punish an offense. The purpose of punishing offenses is not only for self-gratification but to serve as a deterrent against future offenses of a similar nature. It may seem minute offenses can be ignored, but they really shouldn’t. If the offense is of gravity X, then the punishment should be of magnitude 2X. If the offense is of gravity 2X, then the punishment should be of magnitude 4X. Double the punishment, so the gratification gotten from such an offense is never worth the punishment. – If you speak to someone and they ignore you, punish them. – If someone disregards your time, punish them. –If someone openly disrespects you, openly humiliate them. – If your girlfriend cheats on you, break up with her. – If your friend insults you, withdraw your attention for a reasonable timeframe. You need to make sure that it is clear messing with you will put people on your bad side. And you also need to ensure your bad side is not a conducive place to be. You should also never threaten people as a deterrent. Wait for them to commit the abominable, and then PUNISH them for it. "Remember, FORGIVENESS does not negate the need for PUNISHMENT."

Women are more emotionally reactive than men. Being emotionally reactive is part of female nature. Men, who have higher testosterone levels than women, are less emotionally reactive. Example: Emotionally reactive people are often the ones who commit mass shootings. The kid who was constantly bullied in school until he "had enough." It is easy to assume these kids have a violent nature, but that's not true. Shooting up the school is NOT a logical conclusion. It is an emotional reaction. Women are NOT more violent than men. Men go to war, not women. There are more men who are criminals than women. Not all men who are criminals have 'physical strength.' You don't need exceptional physical strength to be a drug dealer; you need high testosterone levels. The same reason men are more able to control their emotions is why they are more violent that women; TESTOSTERONE. This is why men with low T levels often behave emotionally. They act like women. They are often the ones who commit the aforementioned atrocities. It is never the outgoing, social, sports playing student that commits the school shootings. It is always little kid who was bullied nonstop. It is quite easy to conflate 'emotional reactivity' and a 'violent nature,' but they are not the same thing. When an emotionally reactive woman gets into a position of power, it is easy for her to become tyrannical and lash out very often. This is because her emotions, regardless of how intelligent she is, will often be in the driving seat. She will get upset more easily than a man, punish more often, and sometimes will be outright petty in some of her decisions. It is feminine nature. This doesn't mean she is more violent. Women enjoy peace more than they enjoy violence. Men enjoy conflict more than they enjoy peace. Women are caregivers, violence is inconducive for a nurturing environment. Men are protectors, violence is how you ensure a nurturing environment is not threatened. Thus the two different traits and tendencies.

Repost from N/a
Life is ruthless I’ve seen it many times over Good people get taken advantage of quickly by those who are not so inclined to be ‘good’ Sometimes you have to be a little amoral to clear the way I had to learn this the hard way You simply cannot be good all the time if you want to succeed

Popular Jokes: - Motivation - Contentment You don’t need motivation. If you want something, just go and get it. Do whatever it takes. Look at your situation and ask yourself: “do I want to live this way?” If the answer is ‘no’ then that is all the motivation you need. Discontentment and gratitude are not mutually exclusive. You can very grateful, and still want more. If you’re contented with a situation you believe is unsatisfactory you’re either lazy, dumb or coping. Do whatever it takes.

Prepare for a new beginning.

Prepare for a new beginning.

THE REBELLION The greatest damages are inflicted without intent to hurt. The biggest mistakes seem rational before the fact. Compassion will get you wrecked faster than anything else in the world. Ruthlessness is not an option; it is a must. To have love, and act without, is a skill that must be mastered. A man must learn, but a man must suffer first. Embrace suffering. LEARN. I welcome you all to a new beginning. Let the Rebellion begin !

Finding creative solutions to simple looking problems can often come with a lot of doubt The secret you’re looking for is simply learning to take full responsibility for all your actions. You move with more boldness and self-assuredness since you’re ready for the consequences When making attempts, being bold is more important than being right. Timidity messes up even the most accurate of calculations when present in your execution This is having complete AGENCY You want to be conscious of what you’re doing and why you’re doing it Being right and being wrong are irrelevant as long as your reason is strong enough, and you keep your compass North You will eventually find a way if you don’t stop. That’s the nature of creative solutions
