Men and women often view risk-taking in very different manners. Whereas men are very calculative, women tend to be less calculative because they view sex appeal as a secondary option in case things do not go as expected.

Time is infinite, but human life is not. If you can learn how to make people feel as though time has stopped moving when they are with you, then you’ve unlocked the key to mind control. Everybody is drawn to those who have the ability to relax the mind from its regular hustle and bustle.

Avoid having to be the one to make the first move. Approaching people had the uncanny ability to fuel them with enormous vanity even when you offer more than they do. Humans love controlling others. Deny them that and they begin to move to your tunes. Maintain your distance to retain your power.

Unpopular opinion: Intelligent people mature the slowest. Most like to think intelligent people mature fast, but that’s not true: Intelligent people are good at solving their problems fast, so they always escape the ‘tough’ lessons.

When trying to get someone to comply to a request, it is often better to present it as a suggestion, rather than a request. Curiosity can often be more powerful than the desire to please or bend to another’s will.

The higher up you go in life, the more risk averse you should become. When the stakes are low, a couple of risky moves might mean losing some money. When the stakes are high, one risky move can lead to you losing your life.

Even if you’re not a very great communicator, by simply listening more and relaying key words from your conversation partner back to them, you appear more interesting and eloquent. Simply say less and let them express themselves fully.

Humans are quick to remember an injury and slow to remember a favor done. Do not waste your time pandering to people’s emotions. Find a way to make yourself useful.

You would be wasting your time in trying to change another person. Humans are often so attached to their identities divorcing them from it would be akin to killing them. Unless a person is willing to change, they won’t.

Trying to control humans overtly often has the opposite of the desired effect. But let them think they are in control, and you can indirectly pull the strings in your favor — achieving ultimate control.

You will achieve a whole lot more if you simply executed on more tasks rather than deliberate. Excessive thought hinders your ability to act spontaneously when needed. Leave the long thoughts and do more.

The most valuable things are not things money can buy. Peace of mind, and a home full of laughter are things that only a calm mind can bring.

Life is not as complicated as most try to make it out to be; everybody has their roles to play. Learn yours. Play yours.

Nobody is thinking about you as much as you might like to imagine. Focus on yourself until the focus is on you.

Journaling is the most effective way to declutter your mind. Express your thoughts and reflect on them.

Your value is not defined by the amount of money you accumulate. It all comes down to how you treat people, even those who can’t do anything for you.

Making progress is more about consistency than talent. The more work you’re willing to put in, the more momentum you gain. And momentum is what builds empires.
