Natural learners are more willing to take risks because they care less about what others think. For them, exploring new things is the goal. It's not about overconfidence in their abilities but about novelty, variety and growing. Other people focus more on getting the job done and moving on. They often avoid new situations where they might fail because they worry that others will judge them. We can train ourselves to be learners. By being willing to explore new things. By trying to improve our knowledge and competencies. By being curious. By asking for and accepting both positive and negative feedback to improve our performance. Make sure you don't come across as overconfident or arrogant.  Arrogance prevents people from understanding their strong and weak points.  Arrogance stops people from being constructively self-critical.  Arrogance keeps people from developing warm and friendly relationship with their colleagues. Try to be more humble. If you behave arrogantly in the workplace and don't show interest in what your teammates or manager say, you risk losing their support and guidance.  Instead, by being open to others' opinion and advice, you increase the chances of getting useful feedback in the future.
