𝐆𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐈𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐎𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 ~𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 🔴You may ask some people, “Do you believe in Jesus Christ?” and they’ll say, “Yes”; but surprisingly, they don’t go to church! Of course, they’ve got a lot of excuses. Some would say they just don’t believe in any church, while some others say there’re different kinds of churches and so, they don’t want to get confused. 🔴There’re also those who stopped going to church because they were offended. 🔴However, there can be no excuse good enough to justify not going to church. 🔴Fellowshipping with other believers is a crucial part of your walk with the Lord. It must be a priority. 📖Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 📖Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. 🔴The Bible says, "…the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth" (1 Timothy 3:15). It’s letting you know the ministry of the Holy Spirit that takes place in the church. 🔴Your being in church makes it possible for the Holy Spirit to bring knowledge, understanding, and sound judgment to your life. 🔴I feel sorry for anyone who thinks going to church isn’t important. 🔴David said, “Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word” (Psalm 119:67). 🔴For many Christians, before they were afflicted in their jobs, their health, and other areas of their lives, they went astray from the church. And they don’t get to correct their mistakes; they haven’t realized the problem. 🔴In the latter part of the verse, David said, “…but now have I kept thy word” (Psalm 119:67). He corrected himself. 🔴The Holy Spirit is the Lord of the Church; in Him you’re separated from affliction. 🔴Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). 🔴If you don’t go to church, how are you going to learn the Word of God, the truth? If you understand this, you’d be ready to quit any job that prevents you from going to church. 🔴The church is the ground and pillar of truth; never forget it!

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐃𝐎 𝐈 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑𝐒? 🔘Some Christians have asked “how do I receive answers to prayers?” “I’ve prayed and prayed and yet nothing happened,” they’ve complained. Some, in frustration, have given up on prayer completely. 🔘God didn’t say if you pray hard enough He’ll answer you; rather, He says “whatever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them.” (Mark 11:24). That’s what faith is all about. 📖1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 📖Mark 11:23-24 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 🔘You must understand that your requests in prayer don’t take God by surprise; He doesn’t start considering whether or not to answer you at the time when you’re praying. 🔘Matthew 6:8 says “…your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” 🔘If He already knew what you wanted before you asked, it means He already had the answer prepared. ☀️So, what is needed to make the answer real to you is your faith. That’s what makes the difference! 📖In addition, in Luke 12:32, Jesus, assuring us of the Father’s willingness, eagerness and readiness to answer our prayers said, “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” 🔘Therefore, if you asked for something and didn’t get the answer when you wanted it, the problem wasn’t with God answering your prayer, perhaps you didn’t know how to receive. 🔘God already said when you ask, believe that you receive and you shall have. 🔘So, when you put up a request before God, receive what you’re asking for by declaring, “Father I’ve asked for such-and-such, therefore I receive it now in the Name of Jesus.” 🔘Remember, you don’t say” I receive it,” so that you can have it; you receive it because you know and trust that it’s yours NOW! That’s faith at work. 🔘Faith doesn’t try to get something to happen; faith knows and accepts that it has happened and therefore confesses and endorses it to be so NOW!

You’ve prayed, stood on the Word and applied the counsel given, yet nothing appears different. That’s the moment many are tempted to yield to discouragement. But that should never be your response; faith never gives up. The Bible tells us that Abraham, against hope, believed in hope. When there was no natural reason to expect a change, he held on to what God had said. That’s the life of faith. You don’t allow circumstances to sway you or cause you to vacillate; you anchor your confidence in the Word. Never stagger at the Word of God through unbelief just because the change you seek didn’t seem to happen overnight. Rather, be strong in faith giving glory to God, knowing His Word never fails. Stand your ground and win. The Bible says we’re not of them that draw back; we believe till the end: “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul” (Hebrews 10:38-39). We don’t give up, and we don’t give in. You may find yourself in circumstances that seem resistant or appear unyielding or pressures that suggest you’re at a disadvantage; don’t cower. Hold your ground with the Word. You’re not at the mercy of the conditions or elements of this world; you’re a victor in Christ Jesus. He already said “…in all these things we are more than conquerors…” (Romans 8:37). That’s His Word, and His Word is dependable. It works. But it requires your steadfastness. So lift your head and square your shoulders; refuse to give in to despair.
