HOW TO AVOID BLOWING YOUR ACCOUNT!
1. Take a Break: If you experience a major drawdown over 70%, it’s time to pause your trading. This will help you reset your mindset and identify the cause of your losses. If not, what made you lose the 70% will make you lose the remaining 30%.
2. Self-Evaluation: Reflect on the reasons for your losses. Consider whether it’s a strategy issue, risk management, mindset problems, external distractions, or market conditions. Don’t trade again until you’ve addressed these issues.
3. Watch Other Traders: There is no better time to observe other successful traders than during this period. This is to guess what you did wrong and to be motivated.
Sometimes it may not be a strategy issue but simple wrong execution, timing, and trade management skills.
Until you figure this out, don’t come back to the market. Instead of coming back to lose your remaining 30%, please eat some suya, plenty of suya!
