1. Forex is just like gambling.
The fact is, gambling is akin to luck while trading is more about strategy and analysis and less about luck.
2. Forex will make you rich overnight.
The truth is if it were that easy everyone would be Elon Forex. The reality is that trading takes time and discipline. I always say trading is the hardest way to make easy money.
3. The more trades you take, the more you earn.
Obviously, if you believe this, you will learn the hard way. In trading, less is actually more.
4. Once I have mastered the strategy, I will make money.
The market is beyond technical analysis. It's not enough to master the chart; you must master your emotions.
5. Good analysis equals good profits.
You can analyze the market direction and yet not make money when the market moves in that direction. Because executing and managing a trade is different from analyzing a trade.
And the list continues….Add yours.
