INTERNET ================== In the modern time, internet has become is one of the most powerful and interesting tools all across the world. The Internet is a network of networks and collection of many services and resources which benefits us in various ways. Using internet we can access World Wide Web from any place. It provides bulk of facilities to us such as E-mail, surfing search engines, connecting to celebrities using social media websites, accessing web portals, opening informative websites, being up-to-date, video chatting and many more. It has become best ever friend of everyone’s. Now a day, almost everyone is using internet connection for many purposes. However, we should know all the disadvantages and advantages of using internet in our life. Internet availability is very useful for the students however it is a big concern too for them as they can access some bad websites secretly from their parents which is very harmful to their whole life. Most of the parents realize this type of danger however some not and use internet openly. So, children should use internet facility under the proper guidance of their parents. We can use security system by using username and password to prevent others to access our precious online data. Internet allow us to use any application programmes supporting instant messaging to send quick messages to friends, parents or teachers. However, in some other countries (North Korea, Myanmar, etc) it is totally prohibited to use internet as they think that it is bad thing for them. Sometimes, internet can harm our computer as downloading anything directly from the internet websites may bring some viruses, adware, malware, spyware or other bad programmes to our computer which can disturb or destroy the computer functioning. Sometimes, hackers can hack our secret computer information using internet without our knowledge even after password security. ===================== Essays

1. The Woman Empowerment With the slogan of women empowerment the question arise that 'has woman become really strong?' and 'has long term struggle ended?'. Many programmes have been implemented and run by the government such as International Women's day, mother's day, etc. in order to bring awareness in the society about the true rights and value of the women in the development of the nation. Women need to be progressed in the number of spheres. There is a high level of gender inequality in India where women are ill treated by their family members and outsiders. The percentage of illiterate population in India is mostly covered by the women. The real meaning of the women empowerment is to make them well educated and leave them free so that they can be capable to take own decisions in any field. Women in India are always subjected to the honour killings and they are never given their basic rights for the proper education and freedom. They are the victims who have to face violence and abuse in the male dominated country. According to the National Mission for the Empowerment of Women (NMEW) launched by the Indian Government, this step has shown some improvement in the 2011 census. The ratio of female sex and female literacy both has increased. According to the Global Gender Gap Index, India needs to take some advance steps to improve the women position in the society through proper health, higher education and economic participation. Women empowerment needs to take full speed in right direction instead of being in nascent stage. 🌼🌼🌼🌼 2. Superstitions - Even Today Superstitions are as old as the origin of human race. The earliest men who had no scientific knowledge fell an easy prey to superstitions. Thus, illiteracy and lack of knowledge and capacity to reason out are the hotbeds which generate and perpetuate superstitions. Mahatma Buddha was probably the first great man to expound and explain the value and significance of reason which eliminated superstition altogether. He emphasized that everything should be thoroughly studied, judged and tested before being believed. Later, many other great men like Guru Nanak and Kabir exhorted the people to shun superstitions. But, as we can see if we think deeply, there is a difference. Faith is a positive factor whereas, superstitions is a negative factor. Earlier, superstition was rampant in villages. People had various beliefs about birds, animals, trees, moon, colours, numbers, etc. Even they had strange beliefs about their Gods. The belief in ghosts was common. It was believed that these ghosts operated at night and that they were visible to some people and invisible to others. Taking advantage of this many clever men turned into tan tricks and controllers of ghosts. They cheated the gullible villagers. Unfortunately, even at present, such clever men are at work. There are many kinds of superstitions which are observed by common people. The throbbing of eyes, a cat crossing our way, coming across a Brahmin - all these are believed to be inauspicious. The cawing of a crow indicated the possibility of a guest visiting our house that day. Similarly, if we come across a sweeper early in the morning, it is considered to be auspicious. 11. My Ambition in Life History is full of stories of great men who have achieved great success in life because of their ambition. Napoleon and Shivaji were two such great men. The lives of the great persons of the past tell us that ambition gives a definite direction to our life. My ambition is to become a journalist. It is a thrilling job. It gives one an opportunity to travel far and wide. You meet new people and face new challenging situations everyday. It provides an opportunity to come in contact with the people of all sorts, levels and statuses. It provides great scope to bring antisocial activities to light and enables you to serve society. Of course, you certainly run a considerable risk to life in doing so, and I am prepared to face it. I firmly believe that it is the only job or profession which inspires one to fight out evils. It proves that the pen is mightier than the sword. I shall first complete my M.A. in English and then take up a course in journalism. In my spare time, I shall learn typewriting, shorthand and photography. These skills are a must for a successful journalist. Later, I intend to take up a job with one of the leading newspapers or magazines. I know it is a challenge, but I am determined to make myself a successful journalist, come what may. 🌼🌼🌼🌼 12. Advantages and Disadvantages of Loan System Seeking 'loan' means borrowing money for a purpose. In this world of Hi-Fi gadgets, man's wants are soaring up. Man is not satisfied with what he has. All the while he is busy amassing material wealth and in this race he finds himself short of money every now and then. Earning a modest salary and having limited income, he desperately tries to borrow money from some agency and banks and other financial institutions which are ever ready to lend money on easy terms. With the help of a loan, a man can buy a house. He can be an owner of a vehicle or possess ultra-modern gadgets for comforts in life. Today, a man competes with others to possess things. Sometimes he borrows beyond his capacity to pay back. But he believes that a loan is such a blessing that he can buy anything he wishes even without enough funds at his disposal. It is often very easy to pay it back since he has not to pay up the entire amount at a time. He gets the facility of easy installments and he can make his dream true. His wishes are conveniently fulfilled and he can enjoy all the material pleasures of life that can be bought with money. But is not always so rosy as it seems. It is a trapping temptation. Quite a few people take loans without proper planning for their repayment and they suffer. Taking a loan without planning causes great anxiety and hardship. The dreams that he has nurtured make him restless now. He leads him to a life of misery. He repents for taking loan. He cannot enjoy the things he has bought.
