Dear Students, We are delighted to announce that casting for the hosts of Astana Ball 2023 is now open! The hosts play a vital role in our event as they will lead the entire program with their charm and magnetic presence. We are seeking active and talented students who have previous experience in hosting large-scale events. Please come forward, show your abilities, and take your chance to become hosts! Dear NU students, 🌹Here is the link for Debutants Casting Please, be respectful and do not remove another student’s name in the spreadsheet

The casting is held in two parts: 1. Interview where you answer some questions about why you want to participate and why you should be selected. In general, applicants must convince the organizers about their decision. 2. Dance part where you are shown basic waltz moves and asked to repeat them with music. Note that you don't have to have dancing experience as the casting is about testing your learning skills. Debutants will learn actual waltz in the course of two months. A few details to note: - SENIOR students may have priority over other students (only if they fit all other criteria). - It is NOT mandatory to have a dance pair (organizers will divide debutants into pairs after the casting). - Debutants must purchase suits and dresses for the main performance themselves. - Selected debutants must donate to the Student Fund in order to get the financing for the event.

Dear students, We are pleased to announce the casting of debutants for the upcoming Astana Ball 2023! Casting will take place this week, August 25-27. If you want to be part of a grand ballroom dance event this fall, work with a team of brilliant dancers and have a unique experience, try to become a debutant through this audition. Astana Ball at NU Awards: 🎉 Exciting news! Astana Ball has been nominated in 2 categories at NU Awards: Social Event of the Year and Large-Scale Entertainment Event of the Year! 🕺💃 Over 3,000 guests attended our event, where we raised over 1,000,000 tenge for children with special needs. 🎶 We also organized a concert with 5 big performing clubs and several individuals, and had 52 debutants! 🎬 Made a promo video with 25th July Cinema 📺 26 episodes of debutant diaries 🎙 as well as our podcast with Sample Magazine. 💻 We even developed our own webpage AstanaBall.kz! 📷 Now, on our Instagram page, attendees can post their magical Astana Ball moment. Dear, NU Community! We're thrilled to share that Astana Ball was a huge success last semester! And now, we're gearing up for the NU Awards 2023. We would be extremely grateful if you could nominate us in three categories: "Social Contribution of the Year" for individuals and groups, and "Wide-scale Entertainment Event of the Year" and "Social Event of the Year" for events. We want to thank Bloom Flowers & Decor for providing us with these beautiful flowers you saw at the upper Atrium during the Astana Ball. They were very lovely in the theme of the Ball for decorating the Atrium and giving them to ladies at the end of the Debutants' waltz.

Dear NU Community, Fundraising is over. Together, we raised ONE MILLION SEVENTEEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THREE tenge! We thank you all for every donation. Each tenge will directly go to Baqytty Shanyrak fund to purchase equipment for disabled children. This was possible only with your valuable contribution. Also, thank you for coming to wonderful Astana Ball evening. See you next year.
