You're going to catch what they have. If your friends are prejudiced, you're going to become prejudiced. If they compromise, you're going to compromise. If they have no goals and little motivation, that narrow-minded thinking is going to corrupt you. You will become like the people with whom you associate. Don't hang around people who don't have anything you want. If they're not making you better, inspiring you, and causing you to grow, you need to make changes. Be nice to everyone, but don't spend time with negative, critical, jealous, small-minded, bitter people. God has given you a gift that will flourish and grow in the soil of good character. Your seed is full of potential, has greatness in it, and can set a new standard for your family. Your seed can break generational curses, could have the cure for cancer, and could impact this world. What God has entrusted you with is extremely valuable. Do your part and keep your seed in good soil. Paul knew what he meant when he said the scripture so be careful about your company. Good morning🥰🥰TGIF💃💃💃💃 I hope you're good SCRIPTURE: Colossians 1:24-29 TOPIC: WATCH THE ROOTS OF YOUR SERVICE When you love the Lord your God, you will be committed in serving Him and you will grow. You will be useful in His service. From the scripture, we can see that Paul loves God. His service is described and he did so willingly. This is a man who is fully sold out to serving the Lord without any reservations, the roots of his service is grounded for the love he has for the Lord such that although he goes through persecutions and challenges, he serves God to the fullest. I believe he did not rely on His own strength but on the strength of the Lord that is why He said i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Please serve the Lord because you love Him and not because you want the praises of men. Prayer: Father, help me to serve you diligently. In the same way, we cannot grow or get intimate with the Lord if we don't give ourselves to prayer. In life, as you constantly speak to someone, you get closer to the person but lack of communication draws you apart. God reminds us in His word about the incredible importance of prayer. Jesus spent a lot of time praying. This should tell us to pray continually, to develop an attitude of constant communication with God. And if it was important for Jesus, then it is crucial for your spiritual journey too. God desires our fellowship. He longs for us to talk and listen to Him. Maybe, you're at a loss for words, our hearts are broken but the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we don't know what to pray for. He is in control. Prayerlessness is dangerous in spiritual growth in the Lord. Our lack of prayer reveals that we are not willing yet to bend our own will and desire for glory and recognition to the Lordship of Jesus. Be devoted to prayer as it will help you and there will be no harm to your own spirituality Prayer: Father, thank you for this opportunity to reinforce my knowledge on prayer, Holy Spirit create in me the passion for prayer that I may get intimate with my Father, in Jesus mighty name......Amen!
