[IFMSA Survey on the Challenges of Meaningful Youth Engagement] 🤔 What: IFMSA Survey on the Challenges of Meaningful Youth Engagement 🚨 DL: 24th June 2023, 11:59 PM 🔗 Link to Survey: https://forms.gle/CYXbnQ6P4V88F8zQA The Youth PreWHA Meaningful Youth Engagement Advocacy Working Group members are very excited to share with you this survey that aims to understand the challenges you face regarding meaningful youth engagement. Meaningful youth engagement is a participatory process in which young people's ideas, expertise, experiences, and perspectives are integrated throughout programmatic, policy, and institutional decision-making structures to best inform outcomes. Often youth are not sufficiently involved in decision-making processes at local, national, or international levels. Furthermore, if they are involved this is often disingenuous or tokenistic rather than reflecting meaningful participation. This survey will serve as an effective tool to collect National Member Organisations (NMOs) inputs to make the process of youth engagement more meaningful. ✨ The survey should take around 5 minutes to complete. By answering this short survey, the Advocacy Working Group will be able to understand the challenges we face and be able to use it to target our advocacy in the future.
