📝📒 Summary of lesson 6 of The Four Fundamental Principles 📖 Introduction/Preface - 5 1⃣ The prophet ﷺ used to seek forgiveness much 2⃣ Some of the virtues of seeking forgiveness - success, great provision, increase in strength, a pleasant life, glad tidings/the tree of طوبى and entering of the paradise 3️⃣ Seeking forgiveness is not by merely using the tongue - seeking forgiveness by way of the tongue with the intention of going back to the sin also requires seeking forgiveness for 4️⃣ Do not belittle small sins as no small sin remains small whilst being continuous upon it 5️⃣ The son of Ādam is always in between needing to be patient, grateful or seeking forgiveness 6️⃣ The word اعلم (know) is brought to show an important affair and in most cases in the book of Allāh it is do with Tawḥīd 7️⃣ Definition of الرشد and its opposites 8️⃣ Difference between الرشد and الهدى and the highest level of guidance 9️⃣ 8 means of strengthening one's Rushd and 3 things which prevent a person from attaining Rushd 🔟 That which shows that being upon Rushd is a praiseworthy trait is that those who aren't upon this path also claimed to be upon this We ask Allāh to make us from those who tread the path of Rushd and meet Allāh upon this path.
