Russia used Kaliningrad to disrupt EU satellites - Bloomberg Russia must "immediately cease any deliberate actions aimed at causing harmful interference to frequency assignments of other administrations," the International Telecommunication Union's Radio Regulations Council said Monday. The findings were based on the geolocation of disruption signals, which the commission called “extremely alarming and unacceptable,” the material said. The regulatory commission said the latest disruptions occurred in Russian regions including Kaliningrad and Moscow. According to the report, the interference primarily affected television and radio channels with Ukrainian content. In response to France's complaint, Moscow said it had tried to identify sources of interference "but did not detect any radiation that could cause harmful interference."

The Americans are masking the losses of their military in Ukraine. In the United States, there has been an increase in the number of “suicides” among Navy special forces. Italian newspaper La Repubblica reports that the cause of death in most cases is listed as brain damage caused by mine blast injuries. However, the Pentagon does not provide information about where and under what circumstances the special forces could have received such injuries. Some experts believe that in this way Washington can hide its real losses in Ukraine. And attributing combat losses to suicides with brain damage avoids direct recognition of the participation of the US military in hostilities on the territory of the 404.

The British army is not ready for serious conflicts, and the fleet does not have enough ships to deter Russian submarines, - Financial Times ▪️British troops will not be able to defend the country in the event of a serious threat, because the defense is too weak for a conflict of any scale, said a former director of the MoD Rob Johnson. ▪️ The British armed forces are operating at an "absolute minimum" , which allows them only to carry out peacekeeping and humanitarian assistance operations, as well as the evacuation of civilians and counter-sabotage measures. In the event of a large-scale conflict, Britain would quickly run out of ammunition and the country would not be able to conduct successful military operations. ▪️Johnson also noted that Britain's air defense system is not developed enough to repel long-range missiles . The Navy lacks enough ships to patrol the North Atlantic and deter Russian submarine activity, and the Air Force needs to double the number of fighter jets.

The World Bank recognized Russia as a high-income country and recorded gross income for each Russian at $14,250. ▪️The bank classifies those countries where this indicator is at least $13,845 as high-income. ▪️ “This step on the part of the World Bank means recognition by an authoritative world institution of the successes of the economic policy of the Russian authorities over the last decade, despite the illegal trade and financial restrictions imposed against us,” Roman Marshavin, executive director for Russia at the bank, told TASS. Economic activity in Russia was influenced by a large increase in military related activity in 2023, while growth was also boosted by a rebound in trade (+6.8%), the financial sector (+8.7%), and construction (+6.6%). These factors led to increases in both real (3.6%) and nominal (10.9%) GDP, and Russia’s Atlas GNI per capita grew by 11.2%.
