When I started taking commissions on my phone all I wanted was to save the money to buy this tablet and make my webcomic on it but then my parents started relying on me with the bills and I had my own necessities to cover so I ended up stuck with commissions.
Could've been worse tho
I had irl jobs too and they've been even worse.
I've been working 9 hours a day every day and I couldn't do anything in my free time besides taking a shower, eating dinner, and going straight to bed
I'm either working on a bunch of commissions or trying to get more. It's my only source of income and even tho I don't take breaks between commissions I'm still struggling and burned out too.
Everytime I tell myself "I'll finish a few commissions so I'll be all covered for a month so I can focus on my own projects" but I just end up as broke as always within a couple of weeks
