The sacrifice of prayer, the sacrifice of fasting, the sacrifice of staying till you understand the Word of God. No matter what God has given you, the sacrifice dimension of success is something you must come to terms with – it will cost you. We are a generation that likes comfort too much. We like pleasure too much. We are a generation that is so averse to sacrifice. The moment you have to constrain yourself a little, you complain and shout and ramble yet if you see the kinds of results we want, it takes a lot of sacrifice. We like pleasure, we like clapping but not the inner price. Apostle, what do you do that people are just blessed like this, what do you do that the anointing, you are just talking and people are flying up and down. My brother it's not a charm. Even a charm has a price. The herbalist will not just give you a charm because you want to be diabolic. Do you know how much you are going to pay, it's a price. I can't remember the last time in my life I watched a movie, I have television but it's off. I can't remember the last time the TV in my room was ON. Me I must enjoy o, it's my money. Then you will never become anything in life. There's a huge price. Please, young people listen, being young does not mean to be indiscipline and careless. You must be ready to be serious and pay the price it takes. Nobody just follow a leader because of the anointing. It's a combination of many factors including a track record of consistency. Every member wants to know that the leader they follow is visionary enough. There must predictability to your destiny and your vision. Your life and whatever your mission is must be well articulated for anyone to follow you otherwise they'll come and receive miracles and go away. Human beings are not stupid. When you carry the money you should buy a book with and read and you buy shoe because you saw somebody buy a shoe of hundred thousand, you allow a luciferian spirit to deceive you to go and buy a shoe of hundred thousand to prove a point, you're not ready for the sacrifice dimension of greatness. THE DANGERS OF BEING A CARNAL MAN - APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN. One of the dangers of living in carnality is that your life becomes a consistent misrepresentation of the image of Christ because you are carrying a title that cannot be defended by your life. You are carrying the title "believer and a Christian" but it cannot be defended by your life, so if people are going to learn about God through the lense of your life, you will become a consistent misrepresentation of God's image. The second danger of being a carnal man is that your experience in times of result and that of an unbeliever will not be different, the profit of being safe cannot be demonstrated in your life as a carnal believer. The reason why your life is still the same compared to when you were an unbeliever is because you have not allow the spirit of God to transit you. The Bible also made us to know that one who is carnal is still a baby. One of the ways to know that you are still carnal is that you don't have the endurance for sound doctrine. The moment sound doctrine becomes a burden to you, just know that you are carnal. 5 PILLARS OF THE GOSPEL YOU MUST UNDERSTAND AS A CHRISTIAN ||APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN. There are five major pillars of the gospel that if you don't believe in it, the gospel will not profit you. The first one is the humanity of Christ. You must believe that Jesus walked in the flesh, and this is one of the foundational tenet of the gospel and even the Christian faith. It matters that you believe that God was made incarnate and dwell among us. Men felt Jesus, they ate with him. The second one is his death. The death of Christ is the second foundational pillar for receiving understanding and maximising the gospel. It is important for you to know that Christ actually died. The third pillar that Is an anchor to the Christian faith and even the gospel is his burial. It is not just important to know that Jesus died, it is also important to know that he was actually buried. If Jesus was not buried, you will not believe his Resurrection because his resurrection was predicated on the fact that he was buried. Jesus was not the first person to be brought back to life, but he is the first person to experience resurrection.
