Summary and Rebuttal of THIS ARTICLE "Xi is White because he believes in Han supremacy and persecutes non-Han non-whites." A simple look at the Chinese constitution reveals this is a flat out lie. Xi is not a Han supremacist and non-Han are harmonized under the Chinese identity. What they mean by "persecution" is the fact that there is no problem of identity politics in China because neither the majority Han nor the minority non-han have political representation in the Chinese state. In the Chinese state, there is only the CCP which governs all of China. The distinction of Han vs non-Han does not exist in the Party. There is only the CHINESE Communist Party. In the US you have "black republicans and white republicans" as well as "white democrats" and "black democrats" and their respective voters. No such thing exists in China because China doesn't even have the same political system for such a cultural trend to arise in the first place. So really, what he's saying is based on a lie and the assumption that because non-Han minority groups have no political representation (even though this very idea only applies to a liberal democracy in the first place), they are somehow "pursecuted". It's just White Supremacist coping that non-whites aren't embracing liberal democracy.
