This is the question from 2022 paper 2, where we are asked to prove that there are n² number of possible quantum states. Although in my opinion it is slightly wrong as the number of possible quantum states is not n², rather it is 2n². We will get n² only if spin is not considered, and actually this number (n²) is number of orbital. ============ So, I have tried to intelligently address the issue in our answer.
