Shalom Glory Missional family, We extend our heartfelt condolences to Rick Koh and Annie Koh and their family on the passing
Shalom Glory Missional family, We extend our heartfelt condolences to Rick Koh and Annie Koh and their family on the passing of their mother, Mdm Teo Kim Luan who was called home to the Lord on 1 June 2026. She was the sister of our member, Teo Li Lin, and the paternal grandmother of Natalie & Alyssia Koh and maternal grandmother of Ian and Vera Ang. The wake services and funeral will be conducted by Glory Presbyterian Church. Thank you for upholding the family in your prayers and extending your support during this time of bereavement. May the Lord surround the family with His comfort, strength, and abiding peace.

Dearly beloved GPC family, as we enter the school holiday season, we thank God for sustaining parents, children, teachers, and students through another school term. Scripture reminds us, ā€œHe makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.ā€ (Psalm 23:2-3a).   In the midst of academic pressures, responsibilities at home and work, and the busyness of daily life, may we remember that true rest is ultimately found in Christ alone. Let us spend time today praying for our families, children, educators, and all who will be travelling or taking time to rest during this season. Wherever relevant, you are encouraged to pray for those you know by name. You can use the following points to pray:   1. For families during the school holidays ā€œBehold, children are a heritage from the Lord.ā€ (Psalm 127:3a) • Give thanks for the gift of families and for God’s sustaining grace through the routines and responsibilities of daily life. • Pray that the school holidays will become meaningful opportunities for families to spend more time together, deepen relationships, and enjoy one another’s presence. • Pray for wisdom, patience, and strength for parents as they care for and guide their children in love. • Pray that Christ will be at the centre of our homes, shaping the way families speak, rest, forgive, encourage, and grow together.   2. For parent-teacher meetings and academic reviews ā€œLet each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.ā€ (Philippians 2:4) • Pray for humility, wisdom, and grace during parent-teacher meetings and conversations regarding children’s learning and development. • Pray that parents and teachers may work together with patience and understanding for the good and flourishing of every child. • Pray against fear, unhealthy comparison, discouragement, or placing one’s identity solely in academic performance. • Pray that children and youths who may feel anxious or disappointed regarding their results will know that their worth and identity are ultimately found in Christ, not in grades or achievements.   3. For teachers and those working in education ā€œWhatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.ā€ (Colossians 3:23) • Give thanks for teachers, school staff, tutors, and educators who have laboured faithfully in caring for and teaching students. • Pray that this semester break will provide the needed physical, emotional, and spiritual rest for them after a demanding school term. • Pray for renewed strength, wisdom, joy, and encouragement for those who may be weary or discouraged in their vocation. • Pray that Christian educators may be refreshed and enabled to bear faithful witness to Christ through their patience, integrity, compassion, and service.   4. For overseas travels and local holiday plans ā€œThe Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.ā€ (Psalm 121:8) • Pray for safety, protection, and good health for families and individuals who will be travelling during the holiday season. • Pray that even while travelling or resting, we will continue to seek the Lord and remain mindful of His presence and grace. 5. For true rest in Christ ā€œCome to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.ā€ (Matthew 11:28) • Pray that we will not seek identity, security, or worth in achievement, productivity, or busyness, but in the finished work of Christ. • Pray that this season may help us slow down and cultivate rhythms of prayer, worship, Scripture reading, and fellowship with God’s people. • Pray especially for those who may not have the opportunity to rest or travel during this season, that they too may find encouragement, companionship, and peace in Christ.   Thank you for lifting up our church families, students, parents, and educators in prayer today. May the Lord grant true rest, wisdom, peace, and renewed strength to His people in this season! React with a ā¤ļø when you've prayed!

Dearly beloved GPC family, Just as Christ has lovingly cared for us in our seasons of weakness, sorrow, and need, let us also learn to bear one another’s burdens as members of His body. Come and experience a time of mutual encouragement in prayer as we gather this evening for our Church-Wide Online Prayer @ gpc.sg/joincwop (Zoom) from 8–9pm! Today, we want to lift up the 3Cs Ministry (Chat, Connect, Care) and the Bereavement Ministry that serve our fellow members who are going through difficult seasons of life. Through simple conversations, faithful presence, practical care, and compassionate support, they have been a reflection of the love and comfort of Christ to those in need. Let us take time to pray for these ministries and their members. If you are unable to make the prayer meeting tonight, you can still be praying along using the following prayer points at anytime of the day: 1. Prayer for the 3Cs Ministry (Chat, Connect, Care) • That every conversation will be filled with grace, encouragement, wisdom, and hope. • That God will help us become attentive listeners who build others up with our words. • That genuine friendships and meaningful connections will grow across all ages and backgrounds in our church. • That God will give us compassionate hearts to notice and care for those who are hurting, lonely, or in need. • That our acts of care will be practical, timely, Spirit-led, and reflective of Christ’s love. 2. Prayer for the Visitation teams and leaders • For wisdom, discernment, compassion, and strength as they minister to members through visitation and care. • That God will sustain them in serving faithfully and joyfully. • That those who are visited will experience the comfort, peace, and presence of Christ through these ministries. 3. Prayer for members who are home-bound, physically weak, or in nursing homes • That God will surround them with His peace, comfort, strength, and assurance each day. • That those living with dementia or physical weakness will continue to know God’s loving presence in their difficult journey. • That caregivers and family members will be strengthened with patience, compassion, endurance, and wisdom. • That those who feel lonely or isolated will experience the love and support of the church community. 4. Prayer for bereaved families • That God’s comfort and loving arms will surround those who are grieving the loss of loved ones. • For wisdom, strength, and grace as families navigate difficult decisions and emotions. • That our church community will continue to journey alongside grieving families with compassion, prayer, and practical support. • That even in grief and sorrow, they may continue to hold onto the hope and assurance found in Christ. Thank you for lifting up our church in prayer today. May we be blessed in encountering the Lord's presence in prayer! Do react with a ā¤ļø when you've prayed! Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. ~Galatians 6:2~

Dearly beloved GPC family, this coming Sunday is our Annual Congregational Meeting. Even as many of us gather for this annual meeting as registered members of the church, we give thanks as we're also reminded of our identity as members of the body of Christ. "For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit." 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 Let us take time today to pray for the smooth running of the ACM on Sunday, for those who will be elected into the office of church leadership as elders/deacons, and for ourselves to use the gifts we have been given to build up the church in love. You can use the following points to pray: // For our Annual Congregational Meeting • Give thanks for all those who have worked hard in planning and preparing for the ACM, especially the church office administrative team. • Pray that every church member will look to participate and for the ACM to be conducted smoothly. (Do remember to register for the ACM if you are an active communicant member.) • Pray for members' discernment and unity as they vote on various decisions and also the election of church leaders. // For our church leaders • Give thanks for the faithful service and shepherding of our leaders. • Pray that God will empower newly elected / re-elected elders and deacons to serve Him and His people in love, grace, truth and wisdom. • Pray that our leaders will be clothed with humility and compassion as they serve and minister to the needs of the congregation. • Pray for God's protection over them and their families, and strength and wisdom to manage other responsibilities well. // For ourselves and the church • Pray that we will grow in committed participation in the life of the church, being faithful to use the various gifts that God has given us to serve the church. • Pray for us to grow in compassion and brotherly love for one another, willing to take time to know one another deeply and journey alongside others in the community of faith. • Pray for God to help us continue following Him faithfully as a church and to be a faithful witness for Him to the community around us. "From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." Ephesians 4:16 (NIV) Thank you for lifting up our church in prayer today. May we be blessed in encountering the Lord's presence in prayer! React with a ā¤ļø when you've prayed!

Dearly beloved GPC family, just as we have experienced the wonderful grace of Jesus’ faithful friendship towards us, let us learn from the example He has set by committing to one another’s growth in the body of Christ, in true friendship and fellowship. Come and experience a time of mutual encouragement in prayer as we gather this evening for our Church-Wide Online Prayer @ gpc.sg/joincwop (Zoom) from 8-9pm! May is Care Group (CG) Month, and through this month’s bulletins, you will find stories of how various CGs have learnt to follow Christ together, show hospitality together, and reach out together — our CGs are precious communities, each with the potential to increasingly become communities of missional disciples in GPC! We give thanks that there are currently 38 CGs in GPC (15 adult/senior adult CGs, 12 young family/couples/singles CGs, 11 young adult CGs). Today, let’s take time to lift up the Care Group Ministry in prayer. If you are unable to make the prayer meeting tonight, you can still be praying along using the following prayer points throughout the day: 1) Pray for the CG Ministry and members in CGs • To be a community that supports the spiritual growth of members. • To be a community that advocates for and enables discipleship in CGs in Word, Worship (a lifestyle of worship), Warmth (fellowship) & Works (reaching out to neighbours and the needy). 2) Pray for members of GPC not yet in CGs • To be connected to a CG and grow in community. • To experience God’s love and discipleship in the process. • To form spiritual friendships in the church community even while they are yet to be in a CG. 3) Pray for CG Leaders • To encounter God daily. • To grow in the knowledge of Christ and as His disciples. • To be used by God to lead, care for and minister to CG members. 4) Pray for the CG committee (Rev Forest Koh, Dn Jason Goh, Jenny Kang, Tan Hwee Tin, Leuar Woan Keng and Alton Chua) • To continue to serve God faithfully and experience his grace daily. • For God to send the right helpers to serve alongside in the CG Ministry Committee. Thank you for lifting up our church in prayer today. May we be blessed in encountering the Lord's presence in prayer! React with a ā¤ļø when you've prayed!
