Results of a roughly yearlong test of pens and papers I've been using, with samples kept pressed against a car window, a modern apartment window, and in a kitchen, on the fridge. The control was kept in the airtight darkness. To no one's surprise, interior samples fared better than ones facing the sun behind glass, and bright fluorescent papers faded deeply. Sharpie brand pens held up well, as did a Muji oil-based pen. A black Copic marker faded deeply in the sun. I'm not sure what the last pen was before the white pen.
