Weekly highlight Week of November 11th 📌 Stop Bullying It is well known that bullying hurts and leaves lasting scars. This past week, the entire LIA community (KG- 12th Grade) came together to promote kindness, inclusivity, and understanding, through various activities. Our anti-bullying theme, originating from our Counseling department, was based on the idea that we can make a difference. 🔸 Speak Up 🔸Choose Kindness 🔸 Be Exemplary Let’s create a safe space where everyone feels valued and accepted! 💖 #StopBullying #BeKind #ChooseRespect 📌 Mallory International 📚 We also had a productive meeting with Mallory Book Publishing in the UK! This collaboration will bring fresh literary projects to enhanse our teaching and learning experience. With over 40 years of experience, Mallory specializes in educational resources for academic institutions, especially in Africa.🌍 📌Quality Assurance professional Development This week our Quality Assurance team gave its sixth professional development training, the second training for KG and Elementary, on "Active Learning" strategies. ✨Stay tuned for more updates!

Weekly highlight Week of November 4th 📌 Friday, November 8, 2024: We had an amazing music performance by the School band-in-formation; Al- LIA-nce Band. Students and teachers joined in, demonstrating their artistic skills on stage during home going time. The Al-LIA-nce Friday Public Jam Sessions are open to all. We invite the entire school community to join us every Friday from 3:00 PM-4:00 PM @ Selam Park for an hour of fun and relaxation; a wonderful way to close out the week. 📌 Saturday, November 9, 2024: A Smart Board training session empowered our staff with new skills, preparing us for an exciting week ahead.
