Application Procedure :For Addis Ababa University Undergraduate Programs 1. Open the portal of Addis Ababa University https://portal.aau.edu.et  2. Click on 'Apply for Admission' on the left side 3. On the top bar, you will find the undergraduate drop-down menu. You can click on the Programs button to view Undergraduate programs 4. After reviewing the programs, Click on Apply. 5. You will find the general information and the application steps on the front page of the apply button. Once you read it, click on the 'Continue' button and it will direct you to the programs for choosing. 6. Once you decide on the program of your choice, click on the program and press the 'Continue' button to create an applicant account. 7. Fill out the required information on the Create Undergraduate Applicant Account page. Use a valid email and phone number and record the password you entered on the page for future use. Once finished, click the 'CREATE ACCOUNT' button. 8. Log in using the 'LOG IN' button on the top-right corner of the page with the email address and password you used to create the account. 9. Fill out the required information on the Your Academic Profile page, Click on UPDATE, and then click NEXT. 10. Select admission Type(Regular/Extension) 11. Choose Government Scholarship/Self-Sponsorship on the Financing Your Study form 12. If you choose a Government Scholarship, upload an official letter from your regional Woreda or Sub-City in Addis Ababa resident indicating your family’s financial status. Then  Select your Program of Choice and Click on Continue 13. If you select Self-Sponsored, select the four options provided on the Program Choice form and Click Continue. 14. Upload your 12th-grade result certificate and transcript for the grades 9 to 12 15. Undergraduate Admission Test (UAT) Exam Location Select the location of the entrance exam from the options provided 16. Read the Consent Statement, select Accept and Click CONTINUE. 17. To pay the amount specified for the registration and UAT test, Click on Continue to Payment and then Click on Proceed. 18. Complete your payment through Telebirr 19. Click on UAT ADMISSION TICKET to get UAT exam ticket 20. Click on EXAM SCHEDULE to review your UAT exam schedule 21. Click on EXAM RESULT to review your UAT results once available. 22. 👉🏾 Regarding some specific issues, Those of you who had registered and paid for AAU GAT registration but were not listed in the first round exam schedules, it is  recommended for you reaching out to the IER's testing Center directly. They can provide guidance on the solution and next steps for your situation (likely to take the exam along with the 2nd round GAT registrants). You can contact them with their address provided (Office: AAU 6 kilo,  Forum Building (new BG) on the 7th floor; the testing center is specifically located on the 4th floor. Priority will be given to those who register for the GAT as early as possible. Once payment is made, please download and print your Admission Ticket, which is necessary for admission to the exam hall. Test takers have certain responsibilities to ensure a smooth and fair testing. These responsibilities include: 1.Familiarize themselves with the test format: Take the time to review sample questions or practice  tests or mock exam to become acquainted with the types of GAT questions. 2.Adhere to test instructions: Follow all instructions provided by the test administrators.  3.Maintain test integrity: Maintain the highest level of integrity during the test by not engaging in any form of cheating, or unauthorized assistance. 4.Use authorized materials only: Only use materials, resources, or aids that are explicitly permitted by the test administrators.  5.Present a valid identification document: Produce a valid identification document and GAT Admission Ticket as required by the test  administration. 6.Come with materials for testing: Come prepared for the test with the necessary materials, including an acceptable calculator (such as a four-function calculator), as well as writing implements (pen or pencil) for rough works. Test takers will be provided with a blank sheet of  paper for rough work. The rough work paper will  be collected at the end of the test.  7.Arrive in Time: Candidates scheduled for morning session testing, are required to arrive at their respective testing site/hall at 8:00 a.m. or earlier, whereas candidates scheduled for the afternoon session testing are required to arrive at their respective testing site/hall at 1:00 p.m. or earlier
