Microsoft and Meta to use AI to help run their data centers Data centres are safer than they were previously. However, in search of innovative solutions, some tech giants have stated that they are investigating how AI can be used to prevent safety issues. Microsoft, for example, is working on an AI system that analyses data from various sources and generates alerts for data centre construction and operations teams in order to prevent or mitigate the impact of safety incidents. A related but complementary system is also being developed to detect and predict impacts to data centre construction schedules. Meta also claims to be looking into ways AI can predict how its data centres will operate under "extreme environmental conditions," which could lead to unsafe working conditions. According to the company, it has been developing physical models to simulate extreme conditions and feeding this data into the AI models in charge of optimising power consumption, cooling, and airflow across its servers. India-UAE startup corridor launched to boost startup ecosystem FICCI LEADS, a business incubator of FICCI & DIFC has inked a MOU to launch the India-UAE Start-Up Corridor, this will help grow the startup ecosystem of India and the UAE. Under the latest MoU, FICCI LEAD and DIFC will select at least 50 startups from India and UAE over a period of 5 years, with an aim to grow a minimum of 10 startups into unicorns by 2025. Also, UAE aims to create 20 unicorns by 2031 About 10 tech-enabled startups across sectors including financial services, education and logistics have been selected for the inauguration of the India-UAE Start-Up Corridor in Dubai. The ecommerce portal, according to the ministry, will enable Indian startups, SMEs, artisans, and farmers to reach more foreign buyers. The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) and GlobalLinker, a SaaS platform that provides tools for building an online marketplace, created the B2B marketplace. According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India's total exports reached $676.2 billion in FY22. According to the ministry, FIEO will promote the marketplace globally, with a focus on GI products.

The government plans to launch the Digital India Startup Hub The government plans to launch the Digital India Startup Hub, which will serve as a "national enabler" for all startups across the country, according to Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar. The Centre is collaborating with state governments to launch the initiative, which will include face-to-face engagements between startups and the government ecosystem on a monthly or quarterly basis, Chandrasekhar said on May 22 at the Gujarat University's 'New India for Young India: Techade of Opportunities' event. The programme would encourage more student participation in the startup ecosystem. There are no restrictions on blockchain innovation, and India will lead the charge on Web 3.0: Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

More than 55 spacetech startups have registered with ISRO in 2 years More than 55 spacetech startups have registered with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Department of Space since the space sector was opened up to private sector players two years ago. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, stated. Singh, who presided over the fourth joint meeting of all science-related ministries and departments, stated that 29 of the 55 proposals received by ISRO are satellite-related, while the remaining ten are for space applications and products. The commercial spacetech market in India is expected to reach $77 billion by 2030.
