Isro to set ‘space tourism’ by 2030 at ₹6 crore per passenger Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has set its sights on developing a space tourism program, with plans to launch the first mission by 2030. The space agency is aiming to offer suborbital space tourism flights to the public at a cost of Rs. 6 crore per passenger. The program is part of ISRO's larger goal to make space more accessible and to increase public interest in space exploration. ISRO Chairman, K. Sivan, announced the initiative on Tuesday, stating that the agency is working on developing the necessary infrastructure to make the program a reality. "ISRO is working on developing the necessary technology and infrastructure to make space tourism a viable option for the public," said Sivan. "We are targeting to launch our first mission by 2030."

FM Sitharaman announced a slew of measures to boost start-ups in India Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman proposed extending the date of incorporation for income tax benefits to start-ups from 31.03.23 to 31.3.24. "India is now the world's third largest startup ecosystem and ranks second in innovation quality among middle-income countries," Sitharaman said. The budget measure comes at a time when the startup sector is experiencing a funding winter, with investors only investing about $25 billion in Indian startups in 2022, a 40% decrease from the $42 billion raised across 1,500+ deals in 2021.

Google developed an AI that can generate music from text descriptions, but won’t release it Google's impressive new AI system can generate music in any genre based on a text description. However, due to the risks, the company has no immediate plans to release it. Google's MusicLM isn't the first generative AI system for songwriting. Other attempts have included Riffusion, an AI that composes music by visualising it, Dance Diffusion, Google's own AudioML, and OpenAI's Jukebox. However, due to technical constraints and limited training data, none of them have been able to produce songs that are particularly complex in composition or high-fidelity.

According to Gizmochina, the new patent was issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office and has the patent number US-20230011092-A1. One of the major problems with foldable devices is their fragility, so this might help. Multiple layers, including a flexible substrate, a thin-film transistor layer, and a protective layer, are present in the display created by the new technology. Since the flexible substrate is the area of the display that is most vulnerable to damage, the protective layer aims to stop cracks from forming there. A patent for a self-healing display has also been granted to the iPhone manufacturer. Flipkart becomes first Indian e-commerce company to pledge to use only renewable energy by 2030 Flipkart announced that it has committed to sourcing 100% of its electricity needs from renewable sources for its entire operations by 2030. According to a statement from Flipkart, the action is consistent with its net zero commitments to lessen the impacts of Scope 1 and 2 climate change by 2030. According to Flipkart, it already sources 14% of its electricity needs from renewable sources. Flipkart declared that it has accepted the Climate Group's RE100 commitment and will work to increase its portfolio of renewable energy sources, including both distributed and grid-scale projects. By 2030, Flipkart promised to gradually transition its entire delivery fleet to electric vehicles (EVs).
