From deep fakes to impersonation networks, the CCP is becoming more aggressive and more creative about how they manipulate Americans and other targets online. In one case study, a manipulated video of Rep. Rob Wittman began circulating on TikTok ahead of the Taiwanese election. A big goal of the Chinese regime is to sow discord in target nations.
