Hi guys! I know, it's been a while. I am totally focussed on the exam these days, and haven't had the time to talk to y'all. I was experiencing all kinds of emotions these days: panic, vulnerability, stress, self-doubt, and many many many more. All I kept thinking was, what if I didn't clear this exam this time as well. What if I reach so close to the mark and then lose? What if this, or that?! Doesn't matter if you are well prepared or not, stress and anxiety is a constant in the whole preparation process. The deal here is to break free from this vicious trap and emerge as a happy and healthy person. I was so stressed that I decided to talk to my parents all about it. And trust me, I felt a lot better. They made me realize that PREDICTION is just a waste of time and energy. We can't say with certainty what will happen in the future. What we can do, is live in this amazing present and enjoy the process. My hard work and my mental health is the only thing that I can control, not the future. All I want to convey is, STOP WORRYING and START DOING. But, do take time to self introspect (physically and mentally). You will never be a 100% productive aspirant, if you are dealing with anxiety or stress. Talk to someone if you are facing any distress. Sometimes even a 5-minute conversation makes a person feel alive. Meditate and exercise. And remember, life is much more than a mere exam.

Guys, yesterday's MPC meeting was really important, as something important was announced concerning the liquidity management. A parameter called Standing Deposit Facility (SDF) has been introduced, which is now the rate at which the banks can deposit any amount with RBI at their discretion. SDF rate is decided to be Repo Rate - 25 basis points (3.75% presently). No collateral in terms of Government Security is needed to be given by RBI to the banks (like they do in Reverse Repo Operations). P.S.: Very high possibility of a question coming in the RBI Grade-B exam. Read all about it!

A lot of us get nervous regarding the exam preparation considering the competition and your competitors. Some are preparing for a year or 2 or 4. Some have already covered a big chunk of the syllabus or some are just revising for about 4 months now. Most of this fear comes when we see a lot of telegram groups where some people post descriptive answers while others haven't even started yet. We can't deny the competition all around us, but we can't control it either. We must only fear for what we can do. Comparing your own preparation with others is a sheer waste of time and potential. Our target is not to catch up with others, it is to surpass them to get that seat. For that, we only can improve ourselves. How do we do that? Well, we can strategize according to our own aptitude and stick to the plan no matter what. No matter how far behind you are from others. The only thing that matters is that you are improving constantly and giving your absolute 100% to do so. My words might feel philosophical, but I have learnt this from my past experience. Don't try to reach to someone's standards, rather, make your own. You can achieve success in these 2 months that you guys have. Forget social media, entertainment or toxicity in the form of telegram groups where you might feel bad about your preparation and doubt your potential, for a while. Be true to yourself and fight for your future. You are the best and you'll surely get through it! With this attitude, start preparing for the exam vigorously and ALL THE VERY BEST FROM MY SIDE! You guys know that I am always there for y'all!
